Congratulations, buddy! I couldn't get online due to some internet problem a few days ago. Till yesterday I came to check if the release is available, and there, I found out it is. It's very great that you had accomplished the demo. You deserve it, O!
 
Amazing fun game , wish I could make a game as good as this , well done on putting so much hard work into this project , When the game gets updated in the future I look forward to playing as Jean grey.

In my free time, I still work here and there on this project. I plan to update it soon, with fixes, new common enemies, new objects, new helper and new playable character: Spider-Woman.

Spider-Woman looks great so far, she will be an awesome addition to the game. As for Spider-Man, I personal would like if you went with the one on the right. It looks better, and is different than the one used by Zvitor.
 
Thanks everyone. We are still making some tests about Spiderman.

For all Spider-man fans out there, I have some good news: There will be a whole chapter for him, maybe will 6 stages or more, and we are counting more than 10 BOSSES (and there is a good change this number would be even bigger). Some well known names will be in for sure, but we will try to bring some not so common bosses too.

I can't say all the names, but here are some names you can expect: Venon, Carnage & Mysterio.

About the first game, we will take some enemies from it, for sure.

I've working a bit more on Spiderman, I think I got a good result with MVC base.

I think the better option is the one at left, with brighter colors and a tad more narrow.

What do you guys think?

By the way, With a team effort from Jhfer and Ramzaneko, the training stage now has the classic NES Avengers faces :)
My focus are some Mugen works, but I still work on this from time to time. You can see Spider-Woman and a new enemy too.

O', that Training Stage looks frickin awesome with those face additions. Also, the new enemy looks awesome too. The colors look blended well, and the sprites look really cool and interesting. Spider-Woman looks great also, but maybe if possible you could add another color for added highlights (or just increase the highlight colors brightness), or another color for extra shadows to her. One or the other. Last, for the Training Stage, I think it would look good if you had the guy at the top of the screen, turn towards the screen and face it (sorry, I can't remember his name) instead of standing sideways. Here's an example with Thor. It would be more like that character is watching you train, instead of looking like he's waiting for his turn.

Doom or Mysterio? Both characters will be included in the game, but which one should be the final boss?

HERE COME SOME UPDATES:

- NEW CHAPTER
Started to work in a new chapter - Greece. To reach it, you will first go underwater, fighting some enemies and a boss

Its not finished yet. I am trying to give it the more "underwater" feeling as I can:
* The background uses Water animation to simulate the water distortion (I was using it in every layer, but it reduced the FPS a lot).
* It features many long layers (with parallax effect),
* The bubbles are made randomly,
* Fishes and other animal will appear at random,
* Background music (the original from the Genesis game) were mixed with underwater effects, for better experience
* All explosions change to underwater explosions automatically (by script)
* (testing) Sounds will have an echo effect

My patrons already know about this (many info is shared first at my Patreon, and some won't be shared publically until the release) but its time to reveal one of the bosses:

- CUSTOM VOICES AND LOCALIZATION

I decided to invite some foreigner voice actors to voice some foreigner characters  (not all characters will have this) so the characters will speak their native language.
Colossus is one of those and he will speak russian. We have a brazilian girl to voice one of the characters, but we still need to decide which one to add.

Those content won't be available on the next update, just on the next release. So you will have to have some patience :)

Wow, that stage is really pretty! I love the sound of all those features it has. That's incredible. I've never seen such attention to detail in an OpenBOR game before. I didn't even think stuff like that was possible because nobody does it, lol.

The voice acting thing sounds great :) That'll add a really nice authentic touch to the characters.
