You mean if the stage has the same value for min z and max z? No, I used different values. When you move on the stage, in fact, you are moving in the Z axis, not Y.
This have some pros and cons, but I liked the result.

No. The stage is not that difficult.

Guys, I will need more days to finish it. I am facing a new bug which crashes the mod and let no trace at the log (not even the shutting down and unloading message) so I am trying to understand what is happening. Also, I am testing the game on the newest release, so I could release the game in a more stable version than I was using, but I will do this only if I can garantee there is no bug (outside the ones I already know).

And there is a bug, which I had reported here, where one of the bosses simply get killed (IOW removed from the game) with any explanation and I have no clut about it. This bug will be present on the next release, so people can try to help me to fix it.

Right now, I am dealing with those annoying wall bugs, trying to fix all of them. I want to release this as much bug free as I can. Dunno if I will add the two extra helpers I was going to add.
Also, I want to make a cool trailer for this release, so this take more time.

Its all good Q take as much time you need to iron out the bugs of your demo. I much rather have a stable and bug-free game than a bug-glitchy one. So I can wait as along as it takes buddy. You put your heart and soul into it and I see your determination and frustration but that's being real and I like that about you man.
 
Dude, this game is getting on. best. If you need more days, take it. Because the good is made to wait.

- I am playing a whack-a-mole game. Whenever I smashed a biug, a new one appears. But nothing too bad, just cosmetic things (maybe I am the only who will get it). The only bug that still remains is the boss getting killed, but there is nothing I can do right now.
- Added a new helper and another one on the works.
- Added some surprises to the game ;)
 
Take plenty of time to complete your awesome demo. Everyone is looking forward to tasting this, but a openbor teacher should always launch his job as best as possible, I think.

Anyway, this will be one of the best gifs, if we talk about videogames.

I don't mind if you have troubles with the mod and need to delay it. Personally, I prefer waiting for a polished product rather than have a rushed mess.

I was also wondering if there'd be a movelist so we know what the new characters can do and what changes have been made to the old ones. I remember when I first got the original demo I had no idea about Quicksilver's meteor kick until I read about it somewhere, lol

Lol. You guys got the wrong idea :) The game is far from being "rushed mess" or "too buggy".
In fact, the game is already done. I am fine tunning somethings and placing enemies on stages, to ensure people will rage quit enjoy the battles :)

I ended up adding some tips during the game, however I hate it. I do not want to make it any easier for some people, I think that would spoil the game experience.
 
I like the elevator :) It adds a touch of realism to see the heroes arrive in ways other than dropping from the sky or simply walking from the side of the screen.

I think I'm more excited about this game than I have been by any mainstream games in a long time, lol.

Well, rage quitting is what I do best so I'll be able to assure you did a good job, lol.

Well this is a game that is inspired by retro arcade games and old snes sega games and I love having to figure things out it reminds me of a time when I was a teen and went to arcades or when i rented a game and had to figure it out it was fun.. :P
 
Hello to all! I've been part of this forum for a little while now and this is my first post. I must say that seeing the news of the demo being ready......I'm like a little kid right now trying to figure out which super hero I'm going to start out with first lol. Congradulations on all of your hard work!!!! You time and dedication will pay off I'm very sure!  ;D ;D
