Tried the demo, I was very surprised to see Lion-o and lot of playable characters!!
They are all fun to try!

I just think that you put too much variety of enemies on the first stage (walking stage, not the travel one). Keep some for the rest of stages, it will keep the stages fresh for players.
The robot on the slider could be a mid boss on stage 1. And from stage 2 it could be a normal enemy.
I really think this mod need many sub bosses.
The big hand was a great idea.
The stage 1-2 have some foggy part on the lowest part of the stage,my eyes aren't good and that blurry ness hurt them, it's like using dirty glasses for me.

I'm gladly surprised to see all your talent, it is amazing how you have life to this mod using the cartoon!
 
Excellent work there man. Everything looks very great. I am happy to see this game having guest characters. Will Lion-O be the only guest character for this game?

I noticed almost right away, but she does have short, white hair under that awkward helmet, so there's that.
 
It wasn't off actually. It was her eyes wich needed to be rounder and bigger. She has the evil look now.

Well, some he-man toys share the same pieces with different colors only (mostly same legs or same "underwear"  :P

For some strange reason, I always had a fascination with Trapjaw, when i was a kid i thought that that character design was great! It would be cool to see him as a boss, or even as a cameo like appearing on the stage, summon some machines and then leaves.
 
Awesome job!! I know you are probably getting tired of requests, but if you ever run out of ideas for heroes I think Thundarr the Barbarian would fit well in this game.
 
I have a level idea if you need anything new.

It is something like a bonus, race level.

He-man (or any player) and cpu controlled Skeletor are running, racing in a long level. At the end of the stage, there is the Castle Grayskull and it's door is open.

If skeletor wins the race, he enters the Castle Grayskull and you lose that level. If He-Man or any player wins, Skeletor loses and the door closes.

To avoid Skeletor's winning, you can slow him down with certain attacks or throwable items similiar like Mario Kart games.
 
That's true. What is the current status for the game? Any plans for new levels? I will try out the new version. Thanks man.
 
Its almost perfect cause i had to make it less accurate to get better visual effect, characters has to be high or floor has to be low, i had to find something in the middle so that 3d scrolling effect is nicely visible.
There are some drawbacks like it doesnt move up/down with camera and its not shaking when character falls, its because im using bglayer for this and only panels are shaking, i will try to figure out how to move it up/down today but it wont shake like real panel because engine prohibits bglayers from doing so.
Its really nice effect to create games with 3d prerendered sprites, you can have floor that looks like 3d floor.
I discovered how to do it by accident, and it gave me a clue that it might be possible.

OK i figured out how to move it up/down when camera moves and now it looks even more like 3d room ;D , mission accomplished.
