I did search for "nojoin" in the Openbormanual but didn't find anything. I was pretty sure I had seen that nojoin thing before, and was starting to think that I imagined it.
 
Duuuude!!! I tried the DEMO and it was really good. If Konami ever gets their hands on it they're probably gonna wonder "why didn't we think of this?" Overall, very, very impressive. I haven't been able to beat it yet! I liked that "Under Construction" level. Using the original sprites for MudMan from the arcade game without having to resize it was a GREAT idea since he was so big in the cartoon! Seriously, I really enjoyed this MOD!

Because of the scripts that force you to be a different character, your solution would allow the original glitch to appear, that is, the game doesn't allow you to select a character, it gives you the wrong character automatically, sending all to hell. So I think nojoin is the way to go. But of course as always I appreciate your input.

awesome new demo!. ;)

however, i saw many fails here and there. since i supposed that yes, this is a demo.

lets see what i can remenber now... :P

1) rocksteady... very very slow.

2) magic/special... not enough. you perform the special, and you cannot perform another until too much time. surelly you will die before get the full bar again. what about at least can use 2 o 3? or about at least the bar will raise more faster?

3) bonus game... even using turbo fire,i was not abble to kill too much enemies boats. 3 or 4 at maximun. too much harder.

4) continues? there must be some option for can continue, instad of being forced to restart the whole game again. :P. please!.  :'(

5) different attacks for short distance? on many games, when you are far from the enemy, you perform a certain attack. with rocksteady, you can fire from far as example.

however, i think the chars will look a bit more complete, if they attack will change when you have a near enemy. maybe this could be one strong punch as rocksteady or bebop does on the tmnt1 arcade, for example.

6) chrome dome. very harder enemy!. :P
if you dont use rocksteady for escape him, you will receive so many damage. cause he is chasing you always.

well, is that or then that rosckead is also very very slow for can escape from him. :P

7) bad turtles imitators. very very good sprites works there. impressive.
but man, they are completelly stupid!. LOL.

they dont attack you even a single time!. apart, i think some enemies like these must attack you more and must have too, at least 2 hits as minimun for die. instead of only 1 hit for die.


well, thats what i remenber for now. anyway, there are much more good things there...

many different playable chars, good animations, very original concept idea, different kind of levels. good story and intro rememenbering the classic games, well... lets say that is a very atracctive game. and very promising too. ;)

as i always said, this is like when sega fights nintendo on the 90s, showing the best they can do for our pleasure. :)

however, in this case, is the work of 4 guys making 4 very cool and interesting tmnt fan remakes on bor. adding new playable chars, new moves, surprises, playable enemies, sprites works, etc.

a suggestion for you all... why dont do an stage like the one on that tv chapter wheres the turtles was tiny due to the eye of sarnak?

you know.. giant stage objets as mazin wars from genesis. a giant foot from shredder trying to stop you... something like that could be so imaginative.


oh... another suggestion i tough for you guys:

do you remenber that episode where baxter cames with a truck from the mental sanatory, as a weapon with a big arm, and splinter is captured by shredder for trap the turtles?

that could be too a good idea for a stage and a boss...

by the way... good idea add there that baxter stockman relative. i even dont remenbered him.

i think you guys should rewatch the entire tmnt80 series (as i did some years ago) for capture chars ideas, stages ideas, machines, etc.

also, that chapter mentioned of baxter stockman fly in the courtyard, when he touch the poles and is sended to another dimension, is very cool too. :)


in a word, this and the others guys works too, are EXCELENT.

in fact, im very excited and happy with this awesome tmnt arcade/console remakes projects. ;)

Can't wait for this mod this was one of the first mod demos i played through entirely and loved every minute of it. I would love to see Urma as a joke character in this and it would be perfect :P
 
Do you get a lot of random people comming on your games facebook games?  Is it worth making a face book for them I ask because I was thinking about it.
