The project is currently under development.
One of the problems with my current game is the lack of enemy types, so I'm expanding them.
I dont think enemy type is much of a problem here, just ensure that their attacks set themselves apart from the rest then you just got to group them in a sensible way.

FHR and WHSJ did the first part well, I felt those games over did it in the grouping department by having the player face way too many of the same enemy type.

UDD had enemies that move and fight different from each other, they even favored melee or range weapons and gained an extra ability pn a harder setting that changed them up in a big way.
The first level alone serves as a great example.
Arcade games that did this to perfection, Cadillacs and Dinosaurs along with Armoured warriors.

One thing that set your game apart from other projects is it's fast pace.
You could do a lot with that just by adjusting the tempo with each level.

I'm trying something new.
I've applied lighting effects to the character's special move effects.
This way, the original effects are visible regardless of the stage's brightness or darkness, and it feels like they're glowing on their own. However, it takes more time to make. The reason I made it this way is because the effects weren't visible on bright stages.

Beautiful, and sure it would look better on certain stages (visibility)
I hope it will not slow down too much the creation process of KOR!
