I tried it.
Still testing.
Just saying that Cody's normal jab gives a weird feeling because the head thave same position as the idle stance but the hair moves a lot.
I think his head/hair can be tweaked during attack1

Also, this is a test of Luci ingame (fake shot)
Again, this is mostly a palette, color separation work.
I will handle the pixel work, @Mr.Q! should do the other elements.
-color separation work (inspired by mine?)
-increase the moveset (frankenspriting)
-important need of tweaking many of her weird poses... (a lot actually... taking reference from sF5 Lucia would make it)
-etc.

Cody doesn't have the same position of the head as the idle animation, just verified it, it might look similar but it's different, it resembles the arcade game actually. Yes i will frankenedit her sprites, but please, don't color separate.

I think the shading on the legs could've been better. Sorry I'm not familiar of the style, it's just a test I made with an apps on my phone.

Don't worry as well, I will make her a new stance and walking animation accordingly to the others in terms of quality. Giving the og cast a 12 frames walking anim makes them pretty close to the arcade game.

Just to clarify, How can I help you exactly with this character?
Basically without the CS (color separation), I'm only giving some legs tweaking (size)
Would it be ok ?
+ you can use my face edit as a reference for your edits.
 
I think better skin colors will be OK so I can make new edits! If you want to give it a try about new kicks and punches that would be great.
 
I can think of a few characters with kicks that would suit this chick, Nina William and King kof.
 
Dude, I just returned to the forum and downloaded this game to try it out. It's great! Cody has become handsome 👍 I think Guy's pixels are a bit rough and can be optimized. The following Guy should be a bit more handsome 👍

His art style doesn't match the arcade feel of FF1 and FF2 characters, that's why I kept Guy's apperance and he looks really good with his new arsenal of moves.

Actually his idea is good for the fresh deeling, but I still prefer classic Guy, for many reasons.
FF3 Guy have strange stiff anatomy and poses sometimes.
Basically, he have most of the problems you can see on DEAN and LUCIA as well...

Classic Guy is a better choice, sure !
He still ca nbe tweaked later... face details to match more "new" Cody
 
@Mr.Q! I finally did a playthrough (I was trying to hold off playing it because i wanted to play it when its fully finished but i could not resist hahaha)
Incredible work buddy as alway's :)

You should get the recently uploaded update. Same link, get a new character to try

Ok buddy i will do. I have done a playthrough with hagger aswell but i didn't record it. I was just playing for fun hahaha. It is so good :) I will do a new playthrough later with the latest update :)
