Project is completed.
the only thing i would suggest is in that stage with the sky background to use a different sky because it doesnt fit with the graphics they are like two different graphic styles the rest looks great

Those are the same images used in the video. I am keeping the levels and all characters featured in the video, true to the original.

Nice shots! I never know the original materials have more than they are shown in video clip

4. I added the Quakeframe command to one of my character's specials, why does it only work the first time you use the special?

Maybe you only set single quake

quakeframe {frame} {loops} {intensity}

If you set 2nd parameter to 1 then you only get single quake.
OTOH if you set it to 2 or more, you need to provide the frame where quake occurs. For instance, if you set quakeframe 2 3 8, you need at least 6 frames after 3rd frame for each quake to occur

Sometimes quakeframe is buggy i found this out when i was using it for armor.  A way around it is to create an entity with blank frames and then spawn it on your char

Great shots, man!

Can anyone move this topic back to OpenBOR WIP? I think he's working on it using OpenBOR engine.

Thank you all for your input and assistance!

I will try to tackle that quake frame again this week using your suggestions. Any suggestions on the other questions I posted?

Once I touch up those issues and tidy up a few other things, I can upload the game.

...Yeah, it's OpenBOR.

The only sprites that were available from the video are shown in the video. So I had to create sprites from a limited amount of images. Especially to make the other three characters playable.

Ran into another bug. Entities created by using the SPAWNFRAME command are unable to be attacked and their attack boxes are not affecting the player character. Although they can be thrown and defeated that way. Any idea what I'm doing wrong?

What I have is an enemy spawning from another enemy, during their fall animation. The spawned enemy is the one in question.

My flash animation is not appearing either. Any suggestions?

When I am ready to upload, what will I need to do?

UPDATES: I am taking the week to add a few more easter eggs, but the game is DONE. I'm sure it is going to need a few adjustments as folks play it and discover issues. But I'll worry about that when we cross that bridge.

Also, I have to ask a question to the guys who help manage this site: why hasn't this topic been moved to OpenBOR games in progress? I just figure it would generate more interest if it were known as a game in progress as opposed to being in a generic Misc Gaming/General Discussion page.

I agree. I know about this mod (and i'm curious to discover it) only because of the right column on the forum with latest posts, otherwise I would never have heard of it, i only visit the OpenBor Modules forums when i surf here. But there's a simple solution that doesn't require a webmaster : just create a new thread in OpenBor/Modules/In Progress where you present your mod and maybe a link to this thread.

I'll see if I get a reply from someone, and if nothing is done about it, than I will take your advice and make another topic. I just simply didn't want to flood their forums with another topic on the same subject.

Because you haven't requested it :)

Cool! I didn't see this video before! It reminds me a lot of this one by Nero (the graphics on this one are more 16-bit, not HD as Faderhead's).

Glad someone decided to make it real.

BTW, you know you're a beat 'em up/fighting game nerd if you could list at least 10 games the stages and moves were used to build them. ;D

Thank you. My apologies for not asking directly.
