Thank a lot guys for the answers! Personally i do like to release what is there since i have tease you with it already, but now i also like to add some more stuff first. The problem with adding more stuff is that it will take some time. What means we will have to wait a few months probably(maybe 3 or so).

So, my conclusion is that i'm starting to work rightnow on more content, even without a clear picture of what exactly the new content will be for now. Starting ripping more WWF characters and the ring and we will see. You guys can drop here your suggestions if you have.
As about releasing what is already there, i will keep thinking about it in meantime since i have not decided on it yet  :-\

And something last. About weapons for Hogan and Warrior, they only have 4 sprites for them. 2 for pick up an object like weapon and 2 for attack with it. So i'm already using them for pick up barrels and boxes like weapons for which they fit, but i could not do anything more with this sprites in my opinion.
So, what else you guys think i could have done here?
 
Maybe try out some edits? And have you found any other games with sprites  that fit DD2?

Hm.. i will check again if i could do something more with some editing. About other games that fit DD with style, no i did not find anything. As far as i'm aware, wwf superstars was the only and last game to use the DD2 engine and sprite style. Sure there is the Renegade/Kunio game which fits and i would like to use, but since it's an older game, its sprites are looking horrible and all the characters are having those stupid goofy faces which i don't like and make them not fit very well on a DD game in my opinion.
 
As a suggestion, if you play with the Two Wrestlers, you would add a new scenario, such as a ring and face the Legion of Doom Double, the sprites fit well in your game, or use some of the other Wrestlers as enemies, André the Giant had a great rivalry with Ultimate Warrior and especially with Hulk Hogan, he would be a powerful boss against the two. :) :)

While more or less this is what i'm planning to do overal, unfortunately i can't use any character from wwf wrestlefest. This because while they are having the same animations, they are not having the same sprite style anymore like on wwf superstars and they are too far off to fit on the older style DD games have. Plus the wwf wrestlefest sprites are much much bigger. So, as cool it would be to use them i will not bother, sorry  :-\

To give you an idea of what characters i'm planning to add, i think i will add for sure the Big Boss man, André the Giant, the Million Dollar man and then i will think about the rest 3 characters the wwf superstars have to offer.
 
Magggas sorry for my excitement really the sprites are a lot bigger  :-[, as for André The Giant, you would have to use the spriters of Abore.

It's okay man. Actually no, the sprites of Andre and Abore are the exact same size. They even having the same moves and animations too. Only their walk animation looks a little different and Andre is having a  few more moves and sprites.  :)

Thanks for all your work this game is really incredible for a fan of DD :p
I play it on PI and it works almost fine ...
On PI we only have the last OpenBOR (build 6315) engine and future versions ...
I know your mod is made for an old version and some time it crash :(

- Will you can update your game for last OpenBOR engine in the next release please ?
- And i think it can be better to add a % count when we launch the game and it's LOADING ... It's long and we don't know is the game as crash or not :p

I have make some more tests and it is strange because when your game kick me out, i never have any error in the OpenBOR Log file ???

An bug i can see but not kick me out the game, is when i want to climb somewhere, same for enemies ... we disappear at the bottom of the gangway and we appear at the top instantaneously...
It is more a problem with grating because ennemies are blocked on it.
 
@darknior, sorry i should have answered your previews post earlier and that would have save you the whole hasle.

-So no, i will not update the game for the latest OpenBOR engine and that for many reasons i have already explained many times. To make it short, it will require a lot of time and work to readjust tons of things, which i'm not gonna do. Keep in mind, the engine is changing constantly, So i don't see myself doing the game compatible with every new Engine release, like forever, because doing this forever it's silly and pointless for me.

-About adding a % count it's not really needed. This because normally the loading does not take long. It only takes too long on very weak devises on which the game will run out of memory or be complete unplayable anyway. So a % count it's pointless for me to add.

Now as for the PI specifically, as fa as i know it's for making very weak "computers". And from the log you have posted i can say that your PI device probably just run out of memory. And it will get worse with my next update of the game since more stuff will be added. So, do not hope to play this game or any other like this on shuch weak device. That's simply the reality  :-\

Like i write befor i only play on PI ... if a game not working on PI i will not play it :p
And on PI we only have the last 6315 build ... and i understand very fine you can't lost time to update your game for us ... no problem ;)

PI is not a very weak computer ... really !
With it i can play ALLLLLLL the OpenBOR games release :D
All the last games, the biggest games ... i only have a problem with txo for the moment :
- Art Of Figting - Trouble In South Town [Version 0.1.0 Full][v.3.0 Build 4153] : It is very slow when i come to the second level with pink cherry in the background.
- Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles - Shell Shocked [Rev. 5853][v.3.0 Build 4394] : Is very slow every where lol

And Raspberry PI has 1 Go of RAM i think it is enough. The proc is fine too. The only real problem is for the moment we can't use the material OpenGL acceleration ... but i wish it will come in a next release ;) ... it will help a lot the proc to not draw graphics and only work on scripts ...

I will try to verify if it's really a memory burn that crash your game.

To easy check if it's a memory burn do this:
If the engine is closing while trying to load the next level, then you should try to restart again from the level you were using the "Load game" feature. Then, if the level unable to load before will work now, that means a memory problem.

By the way, can you play ps1 games on your PI device? If not then it is a weak device because even the original psp could do this, just saying.

No it's crashing during game play, when i'm fighting with some ennemies, not when i changing level.
And it's not every time at the same place, i think it is when some thing, maybe a script, is called by me or an ennemi ...

For sure, i play it with my little girl perfectly :)
I love the PSX :p

I can also play DS 100% !!! It 's really impressive. (with a PI3)
I can also play some Dreamcast games, and some PSP games ... but not all perfectly ... always because there is the OpenGL problem. When it will be solved these systems will works better like the DS and the PSX that have better emulator.

EDIT: An other thing, OpenBOR use only one core of the PI 4 core !
I really see the difference when i compile source code with -j3 for exemple ... it's really faster !
An other thing that will be maybe one day added to the PI version ...
 
OK first of all I have to say this is by far the best Double Dragon game ever made. It's like a bunch of the original DD games put together & injected with a serious amount of steroids. Really liked playing as Abobo & it was a bit odd to see him totally dwarfed by an even bigger guy (Abore) at the end of level 2. 
 
Ok I think I might have found a bug in the game on level 2, right after climbing the ladder to the platform with 3 moving conveyor belts. Using Abobo, had a full health bar but got hit by something, maybe from one of those eye patch guys & that one hit reduced my entire life bar to zero & killed off my character.

Also I made a short gameplay video of Abobo fighting off those Arnold Schwarzenegger lookalike giants who were even bigger than him.

First thank you for enjoying my game and for the video  :D
Now as far this bug goes, i'm aware of it. This is actually caused by a player script and it can happen everyere at any time under certain conditions when player is attacking. The good news are that it is still very rare to happen, but the bad news are i did not found a good way to fix it. So until i will find a good way ti fix it, i prefer it as it is  :-\
 
Okay guys, after a long thinking i decided to release the new version with only just the Hulk Hogan and Ultimate Warrior as an update. So no new levels or more characters for now. I'm actually wanted to releasing the whole thing at once with the levels and stuff, but my free time seems to be all over the place lately.

-News in this version:
1. Added Hulk Hogan and Ultimate Warrior from WWF Superstars as playable characters.
2. Increased the players maximum health on the player vs player fight.

-Bug fixes:
1. Now timer resets when player vs player fight is starting.
2. Fixed the issue of the players being visible behind doors.

By tha way, i'm still working on the new levels and stuff. I'm just not sure how long they will take me to complete all the new stuff.
