great ideia and horse, char movement are a bit weird, not correct syncronized with horse
and maybe should be better a up-down movement.

 
yeah, it needs a bit more work.
I plan to release a new beta before I fully return to mugen, after that I will take a break.
I plan to include Brand (without the gun mode) and BlackCat.

For sure yous aren't losing me. Even I am still a newbie in OpenBOR, I deeply love this engine and I don't have plans to quit with it. Its a great engine and have a lot of potential.

I work in both engines at the same time, most of time. I am just focusing mugen for a while to release some new stuff, or I get rusty :)

The funny is: while I work with OpenBOR, there are some things that makes me keep repeating "damn, why this can be like in Mugen?". Now working in mugen, there are some things that makes me keep repeating "damn, why this can be like in OpenBOR?" lol
 
Will you be back after the break, O? Hope you won't retire. I know you got some WIP's for OpenBOR and plenty of 'em for M.U.G.E.N. The OpenBOR community especially Chrono Crash will sadly miss you if you go, so will Atlas. I'm sure you will get back to working on your OpenBOR projects. :)
 
I'm not retiring. And even if I was retiring, I know myself: it would last a few months and I come back, laughing.

I just have to focus on a few things, because of my increasingly scarce free time, so I do not get frustrated because I could not do everything I want. It was for this reason that I left several works in mugen, so I focus on a few projects simultaneously. I have a nasty habit of wanting to work on multiple projects simultaneously.

I have 2-3 projects I want to do in OpenBOR, but as it did not want to work alone and have not found a partner to make them accept me, I still have not disclosed them publicly. But they are really cool ideas, I hope to have time to do them.

LOL a break is hardly retiring and anyone that knows O when he says a break he will be back working on it in like 2 weeks.  I cant wait to see half brand in action O will you still be adding her gunmode when you get back? :P

I have skill to edit full graphics to create original moves or recreate the great moves of many games.
I hope soon can post the video demo of my mod and you can see my work.

O' man I've been waiting a long time to play this!! Finally did it, what a great demo! A few details (probably most people already talked about them, but I haven't been following the thread in months, and as there lot of pages, I skipped them lol)

General:
The bosses on the original arcade game, didn't have infinite spawning enemies. Those enemies makes battle a little bit frustrating, I'm with hard to beat bosses, but not hard to beat because there are other fellow helping them.
Iron man not having the original palette, goes against the nostalgia feeling. It made me play the game using war machine with the old iron man palette.
Some players make step sounds on their walk/run animation, it's a little bit annoying.
Still find annoying that Hawkeye talks too much...

Stage 1:
The posters of red skull doesn't look very good...
The "now for avengers" graffiti looks great, but the fact that all the E letters looks the same, it show me that is a font, being unrealistic as a graffiti.
The cola machine is on the middle of the street.

So far the game is great!! I still prefer the arcade laser shots and sounds from the gunners though...
It is very difficult too. I beat the arcade game without losing and sometimes did it with no damage at all, but on the first star of your demo I keep losing lives!

Sorry for being too nitpicky  :P

And really want to try more!!

I'm just referring to the font used on the avengers graffiti, that looks exactly like that; a font, not a graffiti  ;)

Yes, but this is something I wanted to change. The sub boss, Golem, has no infinity summon, but Tiger Shark yes. And most of the bosses will have it. Think like Golden Axe 2, where those damn skeletons keep spam and you have to focus on the boss.

But he has it. The difference is that the main palette is the actual one from the comics, not the one from the movie:

The original red/yellow palette that he has is one of his many armors, where the legs are red, not yellow. But I will think about to swap those palettes.

I will make some tests with it. The ones I am using come from a unreleased StarWars mod I was workin with Zvitor, where I was learning about OpenBOR.

I love coming back here to check on progress for this game. Shaping out nicely!

Have you ever heard of Dahna: Megami Tanjou for the Mega Drive. When I was playing it recently, I remember thinking the sprites in this game should be in a very similar scale, and you might be able to find a few things that might be useful for the project. Check it out:
