The project is currently under development.
It's a great game and to be honest it's what a final fight remake could learn the formula from. Hats off to the developers.
 
I think that game will have to be re-adapted to a way newer Openbor engine. Because, the version 3.8.3(latest) has a March of 2018 Openbor build for your .pak file(game files). That would explain my end, generating unforseen bugs and glitches. My Windows O.S.(11) is currently in version 25H2 and going further closer to an official version 26H2. A lot of changes have been implemented in its supported processing programs/files. Especially the online(internet) protection algorythms. Do you think it would be possible for the latest Openbor executable to run your .pak file(2025 or 2026)? PS: Windows 12 is slated to be officially released by Summer of 2027 and, Windows 13 by Spring of 2030(only 64 bit processing available with a strong possibility of a 128 bit processing capability.) Hope that I did not scare you out of your modding wits. ;)
 
LOL... Nothing is confirmed about Windows 13. The only thing Microsoft did was release a video with some concepts about what Windows will be like in 2030; and what caught my attention the most is that the mouse and keyboard will be replaced by voice commands with AI dominating the entire system. So we'll have to play OpenBOR modules screaming! Man, the future is truly bleak.

Indeed, that whole thing is pretty much made up from start to finish, especially the 128-bit nonsense. I have no idea where that part came from.

Yours is a bit off base too, though. Tactile controls are not going anywhere. Microsoft is researching voice commands and natural-language AI as an additional way to interact with the system, not as a replacement for physical peripherals. Keyboard, mouse, controller, touch, pen, eye tracking, adaptive switches, and other assistive devices are not going away.

Removing them would run directly into accessibility law, e.g., the ADA, and compliance requirements. Large portions of the user base either cannot use voice commands reliably or cannot use them at all: deaf users, hard-of-hearing users, speech-impaired users, nonverbal users, people with neurological conditions, people in noisy environments, and people in quiet shared spaces.

So no, we are not heading toward a future where everyone has to play OpenBOR modules by screaming commands at Windows - hilarious as that might be. Voice control may become more capable, but tactile and assistive controls are here to stay.

In the article I read about these things, they said that the mouse and keyboard would disappear... Seriously, I was scared for a moment because I've been using these things for years and I'm not the type to talk to devices; I don't even send audio messages to my family, only text. If I want to talk, I call, but I prioritize face-to-face conversations.
Indeed, the disappearance of these peripherals would be a huge problem for people with some kind of physical limitation.

Which is the biggest reason it won't happen. Here in the USA we have the ADA (Americans With Disabilities Act), and it does not kid around. The feds would be ALL up in their business. I imagine other countries have similar laws in place.

Plus, that would be a silly financial move. Microsoft has been in the hardware and input-device market forever. They were selling hardware before Windows even shipped, and only exited accessory manufacturing in 2023. To this day they license many of those designs to Incase. It's one of their cash cows.

Uhm guys, maybe im stupid asking this but, where i can see the movelist of the characters?

also, why everytime I try to do cody's tornado (criminal Upper), cody does the animation but the tornado simply does not come off?

P.D.: I dont know if this influences, but im using linux ver. of openbor, and there seem some bugs on the game where defeated enemies do not dissapear inmediately, there are some black squares when trying to show the current bgm track, and there is some distortion on the audio in certain moments, specially when there is too much enemies on screen.

I successfully finished it but, no belger falling through the glass window and, no end credits + storylike animation either. Is it in development also? Thx in advance for such a great modded beat-em-up game. Also, have up-to 8 Openbor fighting games as of right now. Keep up the good work! ;)
 
I had Belger falling through window and the end of story animation. Not sure if You tried arcade or extended mode. Arcade was cut from many extended pieces to be like real arcade mode but the changes to levels made it impossible to get fully arcade levels. There is no point to try arcade mode, better get MAME and FF rom to play arcade.
