Thank you
I agree with this, then again, it's up to the modder's vision of the game in the end.I have only one question: why did you use sprites from the game Ninja Warriors Again instead of sprites from Ninja Warriors Once Again? for comparison, on the left is an idle animation from your project (yes, that's right, one static sprite) on the right is an idle animation using sprites from Ninja Warriors Once Again. This is not to mention the fact that in Ninja Warriors Once Again, in principle, there are more different sprites, more new strikes. And there are two new characters. Yes, one of them is of course gigantic, but Yaksha fits perfectly in size. If you don't have sprites from Ninja Warriors Once Again, I'm attaching a link to the archive.
Good luck with the project!

Hello, we discussed it before, and he said partly that the material for Ninja Warriors Once Again is not easy to find, so we decided to use SFC's Ninja Warriors Again.I agree with this, then again, it's up to the modder's vision of the game in the end.
BTW all those sprites are in black & white, are there full color sprite sheets for the playable characters at least?
Sprites need to be processed manually, takes 5-10 minutes. I'm using Gimp, the portable version, it's just more convenient for me. I don't know where these menus are in Photoshop.I agree with this, then again, it's up to the modder's vision of the game in the end.

Wow! this is great! thanks for the heads up! hmm...Sprites need to be processed manually, takes 5-10 minutes. I'm using Gimp, the portable version, it's just more convenient for me. I don't know where these menus are in Photoshop.
The first thing to do is to change the threshold of the alpha channel. Then I manually change the colors of all the sprites at once, you can do it by color key, it lies next to the main sprites and has almost the same name. Instead of a key, I used character portraits, they are in the same folder.
Once I recorded a video on how to do it.
Thank you, currently only 2 players are open. The attack power of the elves on normal difficulty is 1.5 times and on hard difficulty it is 1.0 times, so some enemies will be easy to kill on normal difficulty. In addition, the hard difficulty boss has 50% HP or less. characteristic. I just discussed with my friend, he said that it is not considered to open 3 players for the time being.Wow! this is great! thanks for the heads up! hmm...
@pudu You have been working a lot on this mod so far and it shows how loyal to the original game is, congrats! Just saw a *final update* video about the game, and I have a couple of questions:
1.- Is this a 2players or 3players game? couldn't tell by the videos. I am asking because you chose a big screen size so sometimes it looks like it's kinda too crowded of enemies. Well the original game is like that but it has a smaller resolution so it doesn't feel too crowded, despite the enemies dying in a single hit most of the times. IDK if you have seen my w.i.p. mod, Fight Forevr, where I used a snes-like screen resolution that makes snes graphics to look bigger than they are for standar screen res.
Maybe the game dev process is too advanced to modify the game screen resolution, but maybe having the game with 3 players will make the game even more exciting, or at least it's worth a try (?).
2.- There are some front layers in the last stage that could have some transparency like in the switch/ps5 remake so they still act as front layers but won't mess the player's view when heavy action is happening, again, worth checking.
Keep up the amazing work! Ninja Warriors is one of my all time favourite games!
Hello, version 1.02 is available for download. We are working hard to open the pak, thank you.@pudu Thanks for the great work. I see the link of the 1.02 release on your youtube channel. Is it ready for download?
I understand packing as exe file is somehow useful to avoid piracy,or further modification. However I'm hoping that I can play this on some handheld platform other than PC, is it possible that a pak file can be release here in the future?
Thank you.
Latest playable now available.
