New Marvel Beat em UP

I'm glad you got hired!!
Thanks buddy! And there is another one comming soon where I worked too - there is a demo to try :)

Good news - The Thing :)
Bad news - Boringclops :(

But I liked the supers
Actually most people I know are hyped for Cyclops :)
He is like super popular character but was rarely seen in recent games or media. And now we are in a cyclops comeback arc, lol. First he got announced for Marvel Rivals, and now - in cosmic invasion too. What next? Marvel Tokon?

I know, many people has a bad taste, what we could do? lol
He is the worst of all Summer family by far.

I was watching some videos yesterday and noted something: Thing is a bit weird.
he is way too fast for someone on his size, and he doesn't look to be made of stone, just an orange guy.

They finally learned how to make smart palette, but you can clearly see the mark of his costume on his skin

Now compare with what the fans did many years ago:

I agree on all points other than this. Why do big guys have to be slow? That's a balance trope, and about as far from real world as it gets.

Here in the states, the AVERAGE NFL lineman stands 1.98 meters, weighs 147KG, can bench press 102KG for 40 reps in row and one rep of 225KG. That guy also runs the 40 yard dash (36.6 meters) in 5.10 seconds. More importantly, he makes the first 10 (9.2m) in 1.7 seconds. Think about that... a 147KG dude going from dead stop to covering 9 meters in less than two seconds, and that's a Joe Schmoe nobody. If you can't make or break those numbers regularly, you're out of the league.

So why couldn't Thing, who is a super-powered... uhm... thing... also be quick? I mean, what else can he do besides run up and punch people?

He doesn't need to slow per se, just slower than a regular character. Beta Ray Bill, on the same game, is a big guy with perfect speed.
If you watch a gameplay, you can see The Thing to be almost as fast as Spiderman... and I think we can agree this won't make much sense.

For comparison, The Thing is 1.82 (6') tall and weighs approximately 750lb (340kg).

Yeah - but, he's also super powered, with less fatigue toxins, more muscle density, and partridge in a pear tree. :P

Point on comparative quickness. No, he shouldn't be anywhere near Spiderman. Nobody should be really, since IIRC Spiderman is bullet time. IMO that doesn't mean he has to be a lumbering brute in general. I always thought Capcom did a nice job on Juggernaut in that sense. Just like real life big guys - he's a LOT quicker off the mark than you expect, but also has massive inertia and recovery to go with it.

That is a perfect exemple of what I am talking about. Compare how quick he can do a combo on those games.
now compare with Ryu, Chun Li and Spiderman - he feels slower than then, as he should be.

because if you can have someone as strong as Juggernaut and as quick as spiderman...you don't need any other character on the game :)
