This dungeon has randomized enemies and randomized bosses so players might need to be careful while venturing this place ;). (Or in opposite point of view, players might need to reenter some levels to meet certain enemies or bosses :D )
Oh yes, some rooms in this dungeon also have randomized treasures and ....... eh, no spoiler! ;) :D
This dungeon itself is one of revisitable dungeons in game. Yep, players can exit this dungeon only to return later
Most elements of this dungeon are done but I still like to add more randomness here so I'll be
updating this dungeon after I find some ideas

Great!!
It will definitly promise hours of gameplay!!
Randomness is what can make a game really nice to play.

And these screens are gorgeous!

You guys did amazing job!

Wait, do I see a Lamia Noble from Fighting Fantasy? Now that's fucking awesome! Reviving a very old beat 'em up! :)

We have plenty important items + equipments in game making it tough to memorize which you already have and which you haven't. So we decided to make inventory display like this:

http://youtu.be/vVKVgOcUL7o

It shows the current equipments each player has. Currently this screen can only be accessed in town mod by pressing Attack4 button

The 2nd page of this has been coded but I haven't got time to record a video yet. It shows important items players have (similar to key items in RPGs)

Hmm... That inventory remenbers me some game ... shining force maybe the guy in empty siluet?

Anyway osom adition.

Good job on this display.
The game will really give some new Openbor game experience.
Keep it up!

Awesome!

Okay, so, you pick up an armor, will you equip it automatically? If so, what about the old armor? discarded or goes to your inventory or how does it work?

You equip it automatically, it replaces the old armor.  It will only do this if it's an upgrade over what you have currently.

The Fighter, Elf, Priest, Dwarf and Paladin use armor.  The Mage and Thief do not.
So you start with regular armor.  Then the next upgrade is Mithral (silver).  Then Adamantine (gold).  There's gauntlets, helmet and chest for each type.  Each piece ups your defense.  You can mix and match too (mithral gauntlets, adamantine helmet etc).

The Mage can find wizard robes which upgrade him.

BB/Count,

I've ripped Trix's magic from Golden Axe II - the Return of Death Adder. Maybe it could be used as a magic for Elf?

On the original game, that tree spawns some fruits that recover your health.

Or even like normal obstacles: you hit the tree and it spawns the fruits.

Actually I have ripped that tree myself years ago (including Trix) but looks like you ripped more frames, I can use that complement mine
Thanks! :)

Photobucket is in maintenance status so I had to delay uploading new shots there
While waiting for that, I'll show you these videos:

Inventory Screen 2:

http://youtu.be/bP8a-e3V2Og

As mentioned before, here's the 2nd screen of inventory screen. 2nd screen shows key items acquired in game. What each key item does is something you'll discover when playing this mod :)
First screen has also been updated by adding more slots, 1 extra slot for equipment and 2 more slots for special item

Shannon's new abilities:

http://youtu.be/xmXC1DUdFbQ

As you can see in video, she can perform backstab by jumping on enemy's head making her deadly ;)
To complement that ability, she can toss smoke bombs from ground and from air which can stun enemies. Stunned enemies are sitting duck for her backstab ;)
Her ability to steal by running toward enemies is removed cause it prevents her from running away while being mobbed by enemies. Instead she has freespecial to slash and steal at same time (if the move connects of course)

Hopefully Photobucket is accessable tomorrow :)

Great gameplays!
The inventory system is really nice.
This sytem seems to keep the order of collected items.
What happens if you have no more slots? Does it overwrite the oldest item/ newest item? Or does it ignore the collected item?

The back stabbing move is great!
Really cool to see it working in Openbor!
Is that something complex to add in a game system?
I might need something simillar.
For players - auto back slam
For enemies - grab player in "double nelson"

Anyway, great progress!

Nice skeleton "painting" on the wall of first video ;D
I suppose the backstab will do more damage than shown on the video ?

Great work, as always :)

Oh, god! Awesome updates. ;D

Okay, returning to the inventory question. Remember I asked about the weapons available and whether the new weapons will go to inventory or will substitute the current ones? Well, this is cuz what if I find a new weapon that maybe is "better", but somehow the old is more useful for me since, for example, is a firebrand and I need to fight frost giants (with weakness of fire, of course). Not to mention that probably I've purchased the old weapon and just having it automatically changed, I might lose the money completely instead of being able to sell it for a little extra cash.

Dunno, just going RPG purist myself... even I remember, you were able to choose the weapons you collect in D&DSOM and able to sell 'em (using the trash can feat in the shops). If it's too much hassle, then don't mind my suggestion. :P

As for the thief update, is so full of win! BTW, will enemies have special rare items to drop a-la, say, Castlevania SotN or other RPG's which certain enemies have special or rare or secret drops?
