@SilentMRG I also tried to download a few games to test on ios last week and the same happen with every game i tried to download. The only game managed to download here was the ultimate double dragon demo which is a small file of 30mb or something. The site is problematic in this regard but they just don't wanna see it. I'm pretty sure it is a matter of some kind of very cheap and barely functional server solution they are using of which they are of course very well aware of, because such problems were allways there on all forum verisions, only this time it's the worst.
You only got new cool looks but just can't download anything here :ROFLMAO:

Really... Downloading games from here is a chore. It's like being in a bakery seeing lots of sweets and snacks and not being able to buy anything. XD All in all, it's a good forum with good people.

It looks like version 4.0.5 is corrupted. I tried extracting with WinRAR and 7-Zip and both got the "unknown or corrupt file" error.

Edit: For some strange reason the forum server is unable to download the entire file; that is, sometimes it downloads 35 MB and sometimes it downloads 44 MB or 68 MB and etc... In other words, the file arrives incomplete, corrupted. I tried to download through my smartphone and had the same problem. And I can say that the problem is not in my internet connection, because I tested it with other files.

I also tried downloading using JDownloader, but, it didn't recognize the forum server links, too bad. If we had Google Drive or MEGA options, it would make the download process easier.

As I said before I'm in the same situation.
I think DC is checking for some ways to solve this problem.
If both of us have this problem, many more "non posting users, or passing by user" may have the same problem.

Sure it can be frustrating, but not clue for now.

Yes, I understand these issues and I am a strong believer in forum administration. It's just that I like to let you know when I find a mistake, maybe it's a defect of mine to be a bit boring about it, hehe. :LOL:

First of all congratulations for your game, very fun and I am also a Double Dragon fan.
I'm telling you that I'm making a game called Double Dragon Masters of Sousetsuken and I wanted to ask you from which page did you get the sprites or how did you get them to be that big?
Thank you for your time and I look forward to your response so I can continue with my project.

Very few things bring me as much pleasure in life as destroying people as Andre the Giant! Back body dropping people off stage always makes me laugh.
 
magggas updated Double Dragon Reloaded Alternate with a new update entry:

New build 5.0.0 with 4 more playable characters some extra stuff

1. Added 4 more playable cachacters:
Kunio Kun, Honky Tonk Man, Ted Dibiase and Hacksaw Jim duggan.

2. Also added enemies variations of the new characters in various places in the game.

3. Cheats are now allowed

-Notice about Kunio's moves:
Kunio's controls scheme is a mix of Billy's and the WWF characters. That means some moves are made by pressing the buttons like with Billy and some like with the WWF characters. To perform his special Multi-kick attack press Down+Kick, then if it hits...

Thanks man! Well there are also two new enemies in the game. One is Jim Duggan and the other is two variations of Kunio. The differences In the Kunio enemies variations are that the one is a pain in the back, and the other is a Real pain in the back. Well you saw the other test videos, you know what i mean.
 
I'm glad Kunio-kun has found a place in your fantastic game, and I'm sorry he's been divisive in the past.
I got some other enemies from Nekettsu Kouha Kunio-kun if you want to integrate them.
Can I make 2 more character suggestions?
Here are 2 :
- Marian (who deserves a reverse scenario as we discussed a few years ago, breaking free on her own and going to kick Jimmy's ass and Billy playing Double Dragon in their garage :) )

- Lee, where I can rework his basic palette and add some missing sprites if you want to eventually make him a playable character:

It's okay man, we just did not communicate very well back then and some times i'm losing patience very fast and.. yeah, the rest you know already. Anyway, i'm sorry for that too.

Now about the Nekettsu enemies even tho i'm not sure if i would like to ever add them, i would still like to see their sprites and we see.
Lee is a nice character but his sprite will clash a lot and i dont like that. So i'm sorry but this character is out of question for me.
Marian on the other hand maybe. Back then i actually started working on her along with Kunio since i was planning to add both, but her progress was at very early stages and i cut the whole production before she really made it to the game.
Right now i would like to first experiment with maybe a new custom select screen and continue screen as well. So maybe after that whether i succeed or not i could maybe reconcider Marian.

By the way, about her sprites i can tell you right now the 3 things that i don't like:
1. Her jumpattack sprite
2. Her basic kick combo
3.The special moves

For her basic kick combo which is the more important, i would prefer some more traditional kicks.

Not sure I should bring the attention to me. But perhaps one or 2 years ago, I tried to edit Marian to add her in DD just for fun. and for personal use.
Because hardcore DD fans always tell me. No need of Marian, she's dead, she's not canon anymore etc. ^^

I edited her with @kimono 's great base. To make her a bit more womanly in body type and poses.
But still keeping the badass fighting poses.
Also edited her haircut. Not sure she would match anymore.

Your edited sprite looks better than the original and with more detail but i'm not sure if see will be recognized or seen as an different character by people. As about her gameplay style, i would like her to be more like the wwf chars in my game which are not too complex as billy or kunio. Meaning her extras should be the ground attacks a throw/grabattacks, and maybe one special move.
 
I can show you what I have already been able to recover in terms of sprites, noting that some sprite sheets are incomplete at the moment :)
I think once slightly edited to fit the DD arcade standard, they can be a good variation of enemies. Here is a first Akira, in its original and American version that I also like in Renegade:

It makes me think that a short Kunio mode / Kunio Stage would be fun...
Perhaps just a brawl / survival one... or few Kunio themed stages...
 
Awesome update magggas, i just played a little bit with Kunio, loving his moves so much, that 4x kick combo after the low kick look a lot like the one from Double Dragon Advance, can be pulled a bit different there, it's down+kick followed by down -forward +kick if i remember well, one of the coolest moves in whole DDAdvance game, for me at least.. any chance you give this move to the dragons in your mod perhaps, in some future updates maybe? Keep up the great work friend, cheers. ☺️
