Hello, I haven't seen my friend for a long time. Thank you for porting to the latest engine. I found that when the player died, the number of lives could not continue to receive coins.

To be precise, the game ended without receiving a coin after one second

Yeah i know about this bug. This is an Engine bug tho it's not from the game. What is happening is that some times the time to press continue is getting very short, so you have to press continue very fast. Well if you miss it then you should just load the stage again by using "load game". This bug is random and it's happening in many latest OpenBOR versions.

Sorry for double-posting guys but i just released another fix with the new Build 4.0.3!
I just fixed the enemies AI for the Battle Royal mode. Yeah, it got that bad on the previous update.

I've try your game v4.0.2 on my PI and it works fine, so excellent, i can finish the two first levels, that i can't before :)

- I have a question, how to drop an item when you take it but don't want it, or you want to change ?
I take the rope and can"t drop it, i must take a hit to lost it.

- And with the AI there is a strange thing with climbing, i climb on first level and the computer try to climb with me, when it is on top with me he jump down, and do it again ... i don't really understand why because i stand it on top to fight.

Ah that's nice to know for sure that it works well on Pi since i don't own such device to test it by myself  So thanks for your report!
About the weapons, i did not added the ability to drop/change the bats or whips. Maybe i will add this on another update in the future.

Yeah, this can still happen on such narrow platforms. This situation got better with the new AI but since the new custom AI is not perfect this still can happen but not so often like before with the older AI. Before it was a lot worse on that specific thing. I have to find a way to change his default behavior for this specific situation.

And by the way, make sure to also get the newer 4.0.3 Build  ;)
 
Excuse me, where can I download the Android 6412 engine? I haven't seen it for a long time.
 
Hello, I reported the problem last time and I know how to fix it. Players need to separate coins to get it fixed.
Adding (noshare  1) to levels.txt is no problem.

Now with the new custom AI movement for the enemies the game plays even better! It's not perfect still but it's way way better now and gives the game a nice and new feel! Also now you can't trick the enemies anymore to walkoff on pits by themselves. Now your only option is to manually kick them on pits ;D

Now i just have to update the informations about the update on the tilte screen and intro and i will upload the game on the next few hours  ;D
So once this is out i will later look again on adding Marian and Kunio at some point  ;)

Ok i understand better :p
It's because when i was young, on Arcade or Amiga port, my joke with my cousin was to battle for the bat and we can't never finish the game  ;D
Always dead before the end  ::)
If you can add it, the ability to drop/change weapon can be really coooool  ;)

Yes thanks, i only report it to you, it's not always ... if you can fix it, it will be better but the game is already very cool  ;D
 
I finally play a lot your game with my little daughter for vacations, now we can on PI and we finish it and love it a lot  ;D

Okay guys, i just released a new build 4.0.4 with infamous "no continue" bug fixed! Now since this is a bug on the current OpenBOR Engine itself, i only could solve this within the game with the workaround of separating the credits for each player like pudu suggested above . I will reverse this change again later on when ever the newer fixed OpenBOR Engine version will be available.

I also posted on my download pages a separate .pak File of the new build 4.0.4 for The Nintendo Switch.

magggas: Real nice news of the day! Reading on youtube comments, I will work on the missing sprites that you may need for your game.

Even with small update like this.

I always thought it is one of the few games that actually does not looks like "BOR" mod, but a real game !
Thanks for fixing the bug.

So, new characters are coming ! I can't wait to try the next update ! 8)
