Yes! Pretty much I mean, have a two new (and two remaked) stages, five new bosses, Turtles have new freespecials (FRONT, UP, ATTACK type) and they are have repaired sprites and speed of animations to be closer original SEGA TMNT game, same for the foot soldiers recovery time, all foot soldiers are exploding after they died. 4 new bosses and 2 new playable characters for the minigame named "Meanwhile, in New York City" ..it's a smaller levels loaded between normal levels where player 1 play as Casey Jones and player 2 play as Metalhead at the time, where is turtles lost in space... I will post some new screens and videos soon.. stay tuned bro's!  :) :) :)

Oh you are using Sprites from Chrono Trigger, thats a interesting choice.

Who or what is Chrono Trigger? Most of sprites i have from spriters-resource.

Chrono Trigger is a SNES RPG with a Time Travel story, Squaresoft created it, and Akira Toryama did the char Design for it.

Oh, thank you for the clarification! I draw sprites from everywhere, where I find something useful..
 
The game is looking really good. I like the stage design. awesome awesome. did you make little adjustment on the gameplay or are you just really good?  :P I kinda see it

I'd add that if you have not yet played it, you should stop what you're doing and play it immediately.... but that would go against my interests of getting your finished mod soon, so, I'll not say you should definitely play it now. :)
 
You know Daniel, the part where you see that bridge is quite far from start of Chrono Trigger, so if you're playing the game, be patient :)

Back to the video, nice work so far, are you going to add moving clouds at background?

I do not consider about moving clouds at this time, maybe when i tune the final details :)))))
 
after tried many others different tmnt bors this weekend, i will try your one today.

but my message is not for this game yet, is for the punisher and wolverine one:

do you know that there are one hijacked airplane bonus stage level deleted on the punisher arcade game? it can be played by par codes for level select and inf time.

but it remenbers me the september 11.

i know, this saddly was a real and sad history happening.
but with all my respect to the victims (as we also have our ones on the trains terrorist attack in spain). i tought on this many times...

that should be awesome an stage on that game, where you could enter on the hijacking planes, destroy the terrorist scum, and save the passengers taking the control of the planes.

i also tought about this on a tmnt game with the turtles, but even when it will be cool, the characters that really fits better on this story, will be for sure those 2:
the legendary punisher and wolverine. ;)


saddly we cant change the history, but now that the time has passed, will be super cool can change it at least on a videogame.
on the style or that awesome "source code" movie. you know.
 
this tooks me more time than i expected... but i finally played it.

what can i say? well, good idea and good aspect. and good moves too!.
along others fanmade remakes a tmnt palooza, tmnt 8 bits recolored, tmnt shell shocked and others tmnt remakes, is other im interested too as well. ;)

do your own sprites stages have their work. and the idea of add human enemies from other games is very good as well.

well, try to balance the game the better you can. meanwhile enemies can attack you constantly after raise from the ground, the game will be right.

and also try to not make stages too long.

if this and the playability will be balanced and the game will result fun, it will be a sucess.

finally but not less important, as i always say on this cases... the better difference beetwhen other bor games or the original games, are includes or not new playable chars and enemies. (or playable enemies, the best).

that will change the playability a lot, and will do the players will continue playing again and again your game just for unlock the rest of the chars and enjoy the game playing as new characters on a complete different way.

giving to your game, more personality and interest.

for example? one evil mode where the levels will be on the oppose order, until reach the turtles and beat them on the sewers. playing with krang, shredder and some bad guys.

the moves of the turtles looking good. if you can do a good work with the rare enemies doing some playable, will be a great addiction to your game.

and i think that today is more cool add extra chars on bor games. since it looks is possible make them unloackable on many different ways.

another really cool thing on games are the level ups or unloackable extra moves. i means somethign liek double dragon nes version, or more recent, castle crashers. a game that i love and that even being a bit simple, will make you playing lots and lots of hours unlocking new levels for the chars, and unlocking new moves after power up the attack, magic, speed or shield bars separatelly.

i dotn know if this can be done with bor. but now that you decided to add the specials with a bar... this thing can do your game completelly different from the others fanremakes.

well, if only is possible do this kind of things with the bor engine...

i could give to you others very good examples of this sweet thing:

king of dragons, ghouls n ghost (master system version), knights of the round, and magic sword.

some games where you can get partners for help you, and level up your characters killing enemies. making they a bit different in aspect (new armour or clothes, etc), and clearly doing they more powerful than as they appears on the beginning.


if this doents exist yet on openbor... this should be looked an a very interesting idea for a further engine update someday.

cause could provide this level ups things on the same style seen on games as "castle crashers", could make guys your games much more interesting. and makes the people play them much more hours... doing your efforts more harnessed by the players. ;)

Still alive, but i have not much time to create..  it takes longer then I expected :)
