Thank You BeasTie. Luckily, I backup my Pak file to my SD card every night. Plus I am way beyond that build I sent you. But thank you for looking out. I have to figure something out and get a replacement computer soon.

I will never buy another Gateway Notebook. HP owns Gateway and they have a reputation of placing the CPU and GPU on the underbelly of the Motherboard.

When building a computer the goal is to create a machine that is well ventilated and can remain cool (below the maximum heat threshold) even under stressful conditions.

Well hello if heat rises where did they expect the heat to go if the processors are located on the bottom on the motherboard.

They do not want to take back my machine for repairs because is almost 2 months past my one year mark.

It time to wip out the old Dell.  :(

this is an intresting idea and personally i would get my source from spriters resource if its still around also perhaps mugen forums but be sure to get permission if possible as for the mixture of chars well your gonna have to make the chars stand out the same size and put more color into snes ones espeically  cause as people say snes and sega genesis are 2 diffrent  color schemes as well as sprite look i will gladly help you out by finding some nice sound effects as well as some other stuff you ask for and best of luck with your mod its gonna be awesome i hope each char will have equal attack abiltties to make it more fair maybe you could include the guns rom tmnt 2 arcade also i think this game would look best with a widescreen raio effect rather then standard i could picture it now
For sure and sound effects would be great. I don't recall the gun. Can you display an image of that?

BTW, Those in-game images are old and much has changed.

I am using a different set of turtle sprites. Sure makes me want to add these turtles sprites to my roster as well.

I was lucky enough to obtain some sweet TMNT sprites from another module. I am adding more attacks and changing their style of combat to a streets of rage 3 style.

Yeah that video is from bWWd, but you will code the turtles again or will keep them as they are? (Aside of adding moves).

They are programmed to attack similar to axel from sor3. None of those super high jumps and air combinations. Work has been slow with all of the changes in my career but will post some in game footage eventually. Whats a good screen capture for gamplay? There was one I tried out but it had too many limitations.
 
Here are some pics on a testing stage with Hawk, Leonardo, and Haggar. I have been put in a lot of time tweeking Hawk and creating custom attacks for him.

I am also thinking of adding pepper spray as a weapon?
What do you guys think about that or do you have any others in mind?

By the way is there a way to get beyond the weapon limitation of 5?

At this point I am focused on getting all of the players, enemies, bosses, and weapons straightened out and configures.

I find my self having to do in game rips for particular sprites. If someone wants to help out with ripping some sprites that would be a great deal. Drop me a message and I will tell you what exactly I am seeking.
























 
Very true, I will certainly do that. When I get to focusing on the stages.

I have a couple ideas for that stage. After seeing this video on youtube, I was also I want to add a smokey fog similar to the video and other items like an animated fire alarm.

It depends on how long you want enemies to be stunned by thrown pepper. If it's too short, don't bother but if it's long enough, go ahead :) !
As for other weapons, if you're willing to do sprite edit you can have more weapons

There's no limit on weapon models anymore so you can set weapon models more than 10 now :)
 
The command is limited to a max amount of characters (255 ? ) - so keep the names short if you need a lot of weapons.

Are you sure about this?

Nice shots, but there is something wrong here:

1- the shadows are falling "into" the wall, which is wrong (the shadow would bend/twist to match the wall in the real world)

I suggest you to make the z width of the stage a little shorter OR make the shadows not that long

2- The guy at right has a shape shadow while all the others have a "frame copy" shadow, why?

3- If there is that ammount of fire (its an error at the original game), everything should get redish. You can use a red overlay to tint everything. The right would be to make an animated overlay, flashing from red to orange (since fire is animated and it changes how much light it casts) but this could be bad for the players.

What do you guys think about that or do you have any others in mind?

looking real nice but the shadows need to be fixed and i was also thinking i could picture this game having  npcs in it basically chars fighting by your side
 
Thanks. Will do. That stage is not final either much still needs to be done. The shadows will be adjusted with light positioning based on each stage once I get to that point.

Sorry for the long wait. Will post some pics tomorrow sometime.

It would be a huge help if any of anyone could help clean up these sprite sheets. I am doing my best to rip sprites. However, I could do it much faster with your help guys. I know that you all are involved in many other projects but if you could spare some time that would be Fantastic :) .

BTW, any suggestions to any players that I should add to this massive compilation of beat' em up titles? It does not matter what system it is on either.

*Please Note* below where it says need Sound Effects, I am mostly referring to special sounds like from player / enemy attacks, deaths, and voices.

I am also looking for a great foot step sounds. I would love for the footsteps to change depending what surface they are on but I do not even no if this is possible. (if anyone can get them for me from resident evil directors cut that would be awesome.)

*Thinking about Batman Returns but not sure from what console maybe Snes

*Looking for good Foot Clan and Shredder sprites preferably something that looks nice next to BWWD'S turtles.

*Looking for Ninja Turtles voices and attack yells, etc...

 
Look for the mugen tool PCXCLEAN, it's an old command line tool.  But it can be used to clean sprite rips like this.  Basically you make a master  palette for your character, and it removes any colours that aren't in the master palette and replaces them with the background colour.

While PCXCLEAN still works, there are better options. Fighter Factory (its about time OpenBOR people to know this tool) have the same tool (at least in Classic and Ultimate, I can't remember if version 3 have it).

But I suggest you to use SpriteTracer: http://spritedatabase.net/downloads/SpriteTracer/readme.html
