I thought it was Offensive Special (Forward Special) though? Defensive special for me is like crowd control that you hit enemy front and back. Maybe I was wrong.

I suppose it could be either one, but I consider it more of a defensive special because it A) has little horizontal range, and B) he only uses it as an anti air attack against player jumps.

If you really want to get technical, it isn't a special at all, but a unique anti-air that only enemies have. It has no invincibility and he can't do it to break out of holds or hits. In fact the only characters other than players who have true defensive specials are Shiva, Abadade, and the robots. Even the robots can't use theirs to break through hits, only holds.

R-Bear and Jet each have a move you could sort of call a defesnive speical, but only works on back holds, doesn't give them iFrames, and neither of them can do it isntantly. That's exactly how player back attacks work, so that's what I think those moves would be if they were playable.

No enemy in the game has an equivilent to the player's offesnive speical, but obviosuly all the bosses and a lot of regular mooks have a version of your blitz/running attack.

Hey @Mr.Hunter Rq, I'm working on the BKM SOR 1/2 Axel stuff. I was adding in the sprites and 3 of them are missing from some moves. I know you can fix em better than me lol. I'm sending it here so send it to me when you can. I hope you and the others here are doing okay.

I remember a long time ago I tried to work on Axel SOR 1, and it was already half ready. But one fine day I forgot to save, because of which I lost it a little, and this screenshot is the only thing left of it.

Yo, been a bit but, the mod video went great. Thanks to @Mr.Hunter and his BKM Axel sprites, plus some extra characters I threw in like BKM Bongo and the SOR3 versions of the enemies, the mod went better than expected. I hope everyone here is doing good and everything. For fun if ya'll wanna watch the mod video, I'll like it here. This was very fun to make.

Had a close call yesterday, my drive suddenly stop working. Luckily I have spare SSD laying around, with (desperately) light tap on faulty drive I manage to salvage the data and make back up. I don't think I can continue making edits again if I lost all my data. Now that I have more free time, I'm starting continue making edits again.
This time for Yamato, I'm making spinning slash for his defensive special inspired from Mizuki (The Punisher).

This looks bad ass! All I see when I look at this is when he yells both his English and Japanese audio. "Ninpō Yami-gakure!" "Magic Invisible"

Today I tried to finish drawing what was not visible because of Berseker who stands in the middle, to be more precise and simpler, I just finished drawing Blitz's back

It's a bit funny to me because I've been wanting to do something like this for a long time, and Blitz was supposed to be the first one to go.

I'm just a little curious about what would happen if "The COMBATRIBES" and Streets of Rage had a joint crossover. In which the combat mechanics of both games would be at once. I think that would be great

Only probably a small question will arise, and which of them will accept the drawing style (I mean SoR in the style "The COMBATRIBES" or vice versa)
