Art Some pixels I want to show you

The thread is some time of visual artwork like sketch, painting, or sprite work.
What do you think of replacing the original characters with these ones? I'm always thinking that Elle can be a good Electra in your game. She is finished, she just need some color adjustements in some frames

Your Elle is awesome character and you've done a great job my friend. But if I start to replace original characters with custom versions the game will start to lose its purpose.

However, a great job like yours deserves a space in the game and this is why I'm making a custom playable characters mode. Another idea that I'm working on is about to add "custom stages" to make connections between some levels (like SORR), and even if I don't replace original characters by custom versions, we can add all them as a new characters here.

Considering how polished is your gameplay system, it would be great!

I would definitely make a custom as well!
SOR sprites  are pretty easy to edit!
 
bWWd: I will follow your advice and will create an Google Drive folder where you can find all these custom spritesheets.
Kratus: Ok, you are right. Maybye all SOR1 characters hav their place in the main SOR1 route.
nedflandeurse: If you want to work on SOR enemies, you can contact me ;).
I always thought that Macleod can show more of his fighting skill so you can fin here a new behaviour (gun shoot is still a special attack).

In details:
- New idle and walk
- Bare hand attack combo
- A slide like Signal
- Jump kick attack
- block anim

MacBride and Maclean will come with an easy face swap. I hope that you like his new way of fighting ;).

kimono nice work again. I always like to extract the more animations that I can from sprite sheets and you easily already have material for more animations, take a look at the last row

And since I had a plan of making a custom character based on Garnet/Soozie.
Even if I prefer the japanese version design.

It can be very useful for my custom !
 
nedflandeurse: I'm waiting to see what you can do for Garnet. I've made, a long time ago, a small edit of her that I named Dancer:

I updated the Mac Agents (one page before) with a new first jab attack and a front view waiting pose.
I'm wondering if this kind of mechanic has already done before: I've got 2 models for example Macleod with an hat and Macleod:

Is it possible (for playable character and enemy type) to transform Macleodhat into Macleod when his health reaches 50%? I can spawn his hat too that he's lost.

O Ilusionista: I practised Capoeira 8 years and some other martials arts too.
I'm glad that this spritesheet has some good use for you; I will releasing some other stuffs these days ;).

This is the custom I made some months/years ago.
The idea was to create a custom 5th character for an existing solid SOR mod.
I already have I idea for the move list, but I'm working in so many different stuffs right now (beside of Openbor...)
She have no name right now, but her fighting style is fast and based on throws (?) A mix up of Shermie and Angel (KOF) perhaps...

I can tell more in discord (in french it will be easier)
If I motivate myself to connect fast. (The problem is I already have an old acount, and I want to connect with it... I'm a bit lazy to try finding my log informations etc)
 
nedflandeurse: This is a good start for this Garnet like character. I suggest you to use a different colour for her haircut than the skin.
I have some characters concept too, like this SOR Kenshiro character but I will release some customs official syndicate enemies before:

He matches well with the game I think and Kenshiro is of course taller than Axel, just like all HNK characters
 
SOR1 Blaze is finished (thanks Psykai for the hair recoloration, that helps me much ;) ):

The first alternate palette is inspired by the Street of Rage cover; the two others for Inu and Yasha SOR1 boss; the last one is a tennis player palette :).

Because everyone wants to make a ninja game #metoo, here is Kusanagi with some new moves:
- grab anim, vault and backslam attack
- One new frame in rise and roll
- One kick for basic attack combo and back attack
- A defensive special
