Sad News: My Mom's Passing

Sad news, guys. :(

My mom died of pneumonia at the hospital on August 10, 2013. Doctors said that she had blood inside her lungs plus worse, she had a swell inside her throat so she couldn't eat and talk. Now she's in a morgue, but a burial is not ready now. I think my relatives are preparing for the burial.

I remember I had a discussion in Lavalit about my mom being admitted to the hospital 2 years ago and my sister came to see her. But I couldn't let you guys know that my mom was released from there with my family when I was in school. It took almost 2 months for her to get better. After my mom got better, my sister returned to Hawaii. I'm very sorry guys for not letting you know about her release. I should've told you guys about it.

2 years later, she passed.

R.I.P., Mom. :(

EDIT: I think I may need to take a break from modding to focus on the important issues in real life. I will come back to modding after it's over.
 
Yeah. But today is Sunday so there is nothing I can do probably until tomorrow. Also, it is confirmed that my sister will be coming here for the funeral on Tuesday while the Hawaii time is Monday. I'm not modding recently though but I feel like to. Now that there's nothing to do here because it's Sunday, I can possibly mod. So I will wait for the tasks.
 
My condolences Maxman, those are terrible news. When my father passed away about 3 months ago, I feel so terrible that I had to focus on work and modding to get over it, and since that moment I want to meet my mother, but still cannot do it. Without modding I think I would feel much worse, but it works different from person to person.

If you feel you need to stop modding, stop it and share some time with your father, remembering the good events with your mother. Now is important for the family to stay united.

@DIF: I know how you feel about not being able to seeing your mom. I understand. I know you can't meet her since you're in a different country.

My sincerest and most heartfelt condolences to both your loved ones, and yourself. The passing of a parent is always a grievous loss. I want so much to say something helpful, but the only advice i can offer is to not lose yourself to despair. Take the time you need to grieve, then honor her life by celebrating yours.

I'm really sorry to hear man, it's very painful when you lose someone so close to you. :'( But believe me, it gets better. Just be Strong. :)
 
Do not blame yourself to much , okay .
Just be strong , your mother shall sad if see you blame yourself like this .
 
Condolences Maxman. Step away for a moment and gather yourself, but not too long. Evaluate and come back strong (I mean in general, not modding). This way you will do her proud.

sorry to hear that, i always try to get away from bad depressive thinking and focus on something else if theres nothing i can do, we deal with feelings in our own ways.
