I think GlassJaw said he wanted to design the background to gain experience but I wanted to add some branching stages in the levels. Would you mind helping me with that? Also, I just noticed that Norton legs and feet look a little too large in the running frames when comparing it to the walk frames.

Here is an updated demo. Ozzie can do the jumping power bomb in angry mode by pressing attack + jump while grabbing.

Alright, I'll fix the legs a bit, make them slightly shorter.

As for the branching, what do you have in mind? Tell me what's your idea and I'll work on it. :)

I was thinking of adding in branches at these locations in this link. http://tcrf.net/Rival_Turf!

I don't have any ideas just yet of what they should be. I was thinking that it would be different locations but you'll fight the same boss.

As far as the update, I fixed Ozzie's slams, added more range to freespecials to make them more useful, added victory animations, added brick weapon, dynamite weapon, changed angry mode, and a bunch of other stuff.

Okay, now I know. I already had a couple of ideas in my mind that I wanted to add in my SORR mod but decided to keep them off instead. I'll design something special for those areas. Will be good. ;)

I'll check the new version this weekend and start designing.
 
Hey Don, if your gonna do some editing with the player sprites you need access to our master sprite sheet folder that way we keep organized and don't end up working on the same thing again.

I would suggest using the feet from the walk cycle to keep everything to scale.

I forgot to mention that you can't do it after any grab attacks. I like the command but I'll see if I can make it come out easier.

Anyways, in other news, decided to squeeze some time and started to design some of the new alternate routes. And well, let's say the first alternate scene is finished. I'll show a sneak peek of them when they're all ready.

I plan to add them as well into my SORmaker mod, especially since SORR v5.1 is out and has lots of new features.

If possible, will try to release my mod paired up with this one... as long it doesn't take too long for the mod to be ready, that's it, hehe.  ;D

I just downloaded it now. I didn't think they would update it. From what I can tell they fixed alot of things.

I waiting on some sprites than I'll be working on the next level and boss. I can probably get the core of the game done in like 2 months.
 
I'd like to introduce you one of the new edit enemies: Clubber!

He's big, he's bad and he pities the fool!

He's based on Gigante, but with a complete new array of moves, like an actual punch, a pimp slap and a new overthrow grab. I wanna do something new, instead of a kick maybe an shoulder tackle or something.

He could be a rather tougher version of Arnie/Gigante, a sub-boss or even a boss from an alternate route, what do you think?

Ignore the kick animation and the old idle stance of Gigante, I put another idle stance of him flexing his guns instead. :P

As always, feedback is always welcome. :)

Oh yeah, also... finished the alternate route for stage 4. I think it looks nice. ;D
 
Thanks, thanks. Yeah, that guy was cool. My inspiration was what Mr. T was wearing during his animated TV series. :P

Anyways, went ahead and finished him off completely. Created the shoulder charge and the old idle stance was edited so he can use both (I always thought that idle stances for Arnie and Gigante was like if they wanted to throw up, lol).

Also, added an alternate palette, too (and my respective credits, if I can say so myself). :P

Already done, sir. I also corrected Norton's legs too, check the psd as well.

Currently I'm working in another Frankenstein thugs, might do some sampling and see which one is cooler so I can do their moveset. :)
