How many of these bike stages are planned to have in this game?
The bike stage was created exclusively for Stage 2. Since it appears in a specific stage in the original game as well, I had to make a big decision to create this stage, haha.

I have created a new special move for Hasebe.

The moves currently implemented are the normal, grab, and mount special moves.

Now, once I create the aerial special move, Hasebe will be complete.

I like the fact the grab and mount grab can lead to different moves.
It's a good way to add diversity.
I hope there will be diversity in the way the charcters fight with such moves.
I remember in your old 2DFM game from the mount some girl can slap with one hand, the other with both hands.

If there is a game with mount attacks from the 2DFM era, it is a Kunio game, which was made quite a long time ago. I do not have the confidence to make it now, but I will try to capture its intention in openbor.

This video covers Riki, whom I had been putting off because I was focusing on other characters. For the new special move, I referenced Kazuya's special move from Tekken.

Once again, this proves that our community can makes better beat'em ups than the actual games companies that tries to surf on the retro beat'em up trends.

Given the setting of an 80s Japanese school (or an Eastern theme), English might not seem to fit quite well, but I think it is the safest choice for the language haha. If there is anything I struggle with, it is finding the English names for expressions from the original game haha.

When I read posts here, I don't understand English very well, but I try to grasp the other person's intent and respond; however, I often find that what I intend to say is translated differently.

How does that sound? I was using Google Translate before—is this version easier to read?

I think your use of english is ok ingame.
No problem at all.

Sometimes when I express something hard, I may use 'weird words' in my english. ^^
 
i understand these feelings about translators really well,
For example, when I want to contact a japanese developer of a game I'm following, I always need to double-check to see if the translator is not writing any mess, because a really common error translators does is mistaking who's the "person" in the phrase, if I write "You're doing a great job, congratulations!!" is very common to it become "I AM doing a great job" when translated to japanese, and this is really annoying ahahah
People says that DeepL is the best choice to avoid this kind of stuff, but even this one is not perfect yet :3
