I REALLY want to like this one, because it's charming as hell and quite fun to play :) But personally I find it way too difficult. Easy feels like what I'd expect Normal or even Hard to feel like. Even Haggar seems to bleed lives. In particular the knife/molotov guys feels very cheap mostly due to their speed, and because there is no post-hit/fall invincibility, it's easy for Andore to grab spam you to death, among other things. The AI seems to get too smart and mean the longer the game goes on (which again I'd only expect it to do on Normal or Hard) and it seems almost every boss will immediately counter a combo, meaning you're limited to just jump attack, wait, jump attack, wait, or specials when you have meter. There's also times where there's too many enemies on screen, especially for Easy, and it can result in a bit of a ping-pong situation where you just can't escape.

Difficulty aside, everything else is extremely good and impressive. It doesn't feel like a fangame at all, it feels professional :) Great work.
 
Here is my playthrough :) I really enjoyed it. @Psykai I do agree with the difficulty buddy first i tryed it on normal and got game over on the last stage on my first play. So i just played it on easy for this playthrough hahaha

Pretty much everything everybody else said, this game really needs the run function as I think that'll save us from the massive enemy placement!! Also I think they should change the ultra to just one button because by the time you get to use it the enemies knock you out of it or a least when I was playing on Hard+ ROFL!!!

Pretty good game though, doesn't feel like an Openbor game at all they did pretty good work on this. Looking forward to seeing what they come out with in the future!!
 
No video to show y'all unfortunately but everyone seems to agree that the game needs a balance adjustment to the enemies and a run function will massively help with the enemy placement. I played it on easy as well since to me this is ''normal'' and normal is ''hard'' etc. But the game is solidly well made and the new arranged score of the classic soundtracks from the games are top notch.
 
I've finished the game 2 times (on easy and normal) + played on hard till maybe level 5. Overall I enjoyed the game but there are some gameplay mechanics and features that just make it worse than it could be.
1) Friendly fire for co-op that you cannot disable. Really ruins it at moments, especially when you aim your ult/mighty at an enemy or boss and hit your buddy.
2) Bosses drop out of your combos and counter attack after 1-2 of your successful hits, which forces you to only use jump attacks or grab attack (1-2 hits) then throw. Also it renders your ult combo and mighty almost useless. I'd say ult combo (that last one in every character's move list) and mighty attack must hit entirely, even when you use it on bosses, because it's your powerful ult and costs meter.
3) In a lot of cases I've felt that fights take too long, enemies are damage sponges. Unless you play Haggar who deletes everything with his grabs (like playing Guy feels like a chore because of that).

So in the end I wouldn't say the game is hard, I really felt like easy and normal are kinda the same, and even hard is almost the same too, the main difference being the amount of lives and continues you have. Other than that the game just forces you to play certain way and some stuff makes no sense like useless ultra combos and ult for bosses, because they have the ability to break out of successful hits.
With some minor adjustments the game will be even better(y)
 
I am loving all the surprises that big final fight fans can appreciate if they played all of the games in the series. I have noticed a few stages that were inspired by FInal Fight 2 or 3 backgrounds. I cannot wait to spend more time with this,
