nice screen shots
Thanks!! These screenshots are from the third mod in the ADV Saga. I need to start another topic for all three mods, but I was so proud that I finally finished the Alucard sprites I just had to show them off. The Alucard sprites were the most difficult sprites I have ever created, because I had to animate Alucard first & then I had to animate the cape, then I had to combine them together to make one entity. It was a pain getting the cape to flow correctly as he runs and jumps.

Is the little hooded guy from "Phantasm"?
Yeah I think he is called a Lurker. There are many creatures that you will face inside Dracula's castle: Gremlins, Lurkers, werewolves, zombies, Universal's: Frankenstien, Wolfman, The Mummy, several different forms of Dracula, Freddy Krueger, Michael Myers, Jeepers Creeper, Jason Vorhees, Pinhead, Cenobites, Leatherface, Molasar, Tallman, Chucky, and many more.

I actually watched "the Keep" because of your mod. I'm really into the whole horror thing (hmm except vampires) but I didn't hear of Molasar before. That was still during Lavalit times, I think.

Are you adding the Critters? Always thought of them as more-fun-Gremlins ;) and the Reeker would fit too.

Anyway - good luck!

I wanted to add Critters, but I could not find any good source material to work with on them. BTW I want to know what are Reekers, that sounds cool if I can find source material on them I will add them, also if you know of a good site for Critters material let me know, because I definitely want to add them as a small enemy.

Sorry no idea... I thought you are ripping from the movies or similar, to be honest.

The reeker ("According to writer/director Dave Payne's film, 'Death' employs the spirit of executed serial killer The Death Valley Drifter to act as a 'soul taker', a being with a pungent stench who exists in the instant between life and death and who torments those trapped there, killing them in a fashion that mirrors their real life demise") is a nasty character from two movies. Both parts are a good one-time-watch, I would say. I prefer part 2 but many people would disagree.

But in that case you probably couldn't even rip from the movie because everytime he moves, he is in a blur. But give the movie a try.

I totally agree, Beastie. But the story of the movie got a classic mood going. Or in other words it's not innovativ  ;)

And Devil May Cry is not that classic either...  8)

Sounds like it's worth watching then :) Good chance I've seen it, my bro gets every horror movie, good or bad, so I've seen a lot of the new ones over the years.

Yeah neither is Master Chief really. :p  But they're all infamous characters.

Haha - a friend of mine basically said, he stopped watching horror movies because of the opening scene in the sequel. After that statement I was like "whooooo I've got to see this".

Sorry for being off topic - this will be my last post regarding this movie  ;)

Well Metroid Warworld is not survival horror, but it is a dark game. If you compare MW to Boogeyman Blvd there is a world of difference because you fight giant aliens in MW, as opposed to dark monsters & robots in BB. I have made a New topic for the BB mod so all you survival horror fans check it out. As for my Doom: Mission to Mars mod, I will make a topic later on because I am adding some new enemies to it right now.

Question. In MW the bosses are big and always in your face, so to compensate for that problem I make them walk or fall back a few steps when they are hit with a big attack. This solves one problem, but creates another, because now a few of the bosses back completely of the screen if attacked repeatedly. I guess my question is how do you stop offscreen damage or kills? I want my enemis to be killed onscreen not off.

IMO it's best not to move the bosses at all IOW give them nomove 1. This will solve your problem and also at same time, give bosses proper AI.
IMO big bosses are best to stand still and attack from distance.
