Maybe it's the compression?  I'm running on win 8 so I downloaded the patch too.  But I don't know what this .rar format is.  What do I need to recognize it?
winrar, is free,
i thought .rar was so popular like .zip

I'm sure it is, I'm just dumb.  ;) Just needed to know it was a compression.  New PC, things like this happen you always let someone else build your shit.

Works awesome now, hell of a mod.  A lot of love went into this I can tell.  My boy Joe can learn some tricks from you for our mod.  He's the programmer I'm the artist.

Is there room on the roster to add someone or any technical reasons why I can't? I really like this game and want to add someone to my lineup.

Someone accept terminate a char of X-men? Would be the X-23, a character that a friend started but not completed the char ...

AGAIN?
lol what are they talking about that is such broken english that i dont understand it lol

First, move the .pak file into the paxplode.bat

A DOS window will come up, extracting the files to a folder called "data." Open up this folder when the extraction has finished and look for a file entitled "levels.txt." Open up this file in your preferred text editor and look for (use CNTRL+F if necessary) the word "lives." You will see a value next to it. Erase and change it to 99, or if you're terrible; 999. You won't need that many lives to complete the game though. Be sure to scroll down and change the other "lives" values for the side games. They're almost a requirement for the spammy Fantastic 4 and Asgard side games. Now that we have finished that, let's save our changes and drag the whole "data" folder into the packer.bat. This will result in a "mymod.pak" file that you will have to rename as the exact same name of the original .pak in order to preserve previous completion and setting changes in the game. The game should start as normal, albeit with an obscene number of lives.

For more fun, go into the "levels.txt." and remove the * from "Long Hard Road Out Of Hell." This will reveal an unfinished section of the game, which you can look at to see what was going to be, or what might be in the future. Personally, I recommend adding * to all the lines in "Deadpool's Crazy F*#&ing World" because of the massive dose of internet cancer and fact that it depreciates the professional level of quality in the game. Additionally, none of it will really be relevant in another five or six years. The time spent on this could have been spent on making the truly awesome side game that "Ghost Rider: Long Hard Road Out Of Hell" could have been.

Hopefully this will help everyone who wants a little bit more of an advantage to the game. It is hands down, the best Marvel OpenBOR mod I have ever played. Waiting patiently for the Apocalypse update. Additionally, I really wish that people would stop requesting things be added to the game which is seeming to drive Zvitor and the mods here crazy. Has he not already given you enough? There are limitless hours of fun in this mod, as it is.

Hey! Just wanna say two things, one of which is a question. First of all, this game is phenomenal! Definitely my favorite Marvel game ever created. And second, is there any way to play it on the Wii? I'd love to play it with all my friends, and not huddle around the laptop.

Thanks man
No, Wii engine is outdated and not run scripts used on this game

Have you been to the internet before? ;)

But seriously now, thanks for the guide for adding "cheats" - I've received a lot of requests for help through PM about that.
Except I'd just change the "enablecheats" entry in models.txt, instead of number of Lives in each mode. Potayto-potahto.

thefallenalchemist and erf_beto:

Thanks for the help of both of you
I just wanna say I'm sorry for all the disturbance and commotion about myself requesting a "enable cheat" option . My time of making mods was gone in the Lavalit forum some years ago . Now I'm just a fan and a faithful follower of the openbor engine , and its new creators and modders. I'm sorry I don't have another three old geezers like me to play a game together . I don't have much free time too.

This Mod was too hard for me alone, but is a wonderful one.

Anyway thank you very much.  ;)
