Of course I cheated (paxplode+reallow Cheats) - I can't play with everyone without loosing a lot of lives, and I'm a bad player. LOL
You've turn previously "bad" characters into great fighters! Moon Knight, Daredevil and Elektra really surprised me. Punisher didn't. Maybe I'm playing him wrong but, for a "Range 5" char, he must brawl to be effective (I think you could make him fire his gun like Hawkeye uses his arrow when far from opponent).
I think you need to rethink Storm's dual D+F+A. I love both moves, but they are too different in the way they work: I've often needed the lightning palm rush but as soon as I finished inputing the command, the MP bar would fill up and she'd start casting the lightning bolt, and getting hit due to long casting wait. LOL
I'm sorry to say, but I really feel you should "lighten up" some stages. Maybe it's my phone's screen settings, but the dark fglayer made some stages so horrible to play that I've crossed off playing with Black Panther or some characters with darker palletes. You couldn't even see the great work you've done with the villains, like Lizard or Carnage. I'm ok with a couple of spots in some levels being really dark, but not the whole stage! Some characters could have a brighter pallete as well (ex. daredevil).
I'm also sad that Continues break the game. I'd prefer switching characters more often than keep playing the same one till next level. Good thing you've got a lot of those teleporters though.
I think the game deserves more cutscenes, like you did with Quicksilver and Magneto. I also feel you should introduce the teams at first stage a little slower: maybe start with the Avengers but they meet the Fantastic Four on their way, meeting Spiderman who is already on site, at the end of first level. Maybe show the X-Men alerted of Whirlwind's presence by Cerebro (he is a mutant, right?). Then the Avengers tell of the Red Skull plans and they all go together to stop him at the end of first stage.
Speaking of cutscenes, I'l be checking the text on them today. I'll send you PM as I work.
Maybe this next comment goes to warecus as well: Archangel's walk seems weird with his leg TOTALLY stretched down. Maybe you could "relax" his lower leg a little. I'd recomend adjusting his wings on some animations, but that's a lot of trouble for little gain.
I also feel that flying characters could descend a little slower. It's not like they got much to do up there...
Since you already mapped the Special to a separate button, did you consider mapping the D+F+A and the Summon Helpers to the other buttons? I play with kids, so I've done that to MFA1 - just a one line command -, but I agree it's kinda cheap...
