Making more players in game module

Hello. I've got demo of awesome game that's 1P only, and I want to play it with my bro. In options there's label PLAYER NUMBER:1 BY MOD. Can I make option that will make 2P game possible? Or shall I contact demo creator?

Allright, I'll try it myself. But please if someone could do it can he/she give a link to 2P version? Wish me luck!!! EDIT: OK I edited number of players, but how can I pack data folder back to .pak file?

You don't have to repack. Just have the game's data folder in the same directory as OpenBOR.exe. Create a blank .txt file and change the extension to .pak and have only that in your Paks folder.

OK I managed to do it with packer tool. I gived 2 players instead of 1 but I can start game only with 1P or 2P, not simultaneous Is there any way we can play 2P simultaneous????

Start the game with one player and then press start on the other controller.
As far as I know you can't start with two players on the get-go.

No sir it doesn't work. If I start game with 1st player I can't enter game with 2nd player :/

just give them more credits like 999 and 999 lives

If the game gives you only one credit, make sure you add:

noshare 1

In levels.txt, under "set". As in:

set story
cansave 2
nosame 1
credits 1
lives  5
noshare 1

That way, both players have access to that one credit.

OK I managed to get 2P game work.(I've changed credit 1 to credit 2) We both can play at the same time, ho(vewer 2nd player don't have HUD(No HP, mana etc.) Can I somehow add HUD for 2nd player too?

In the openbor manual (see Bloodbane's signature) you can find all the neccesary info to add/change the HUD.

no, you will need to read the manual to see how to make the hud. And each mod uses the hud in a different way, so this changes from mod to mod sometimes.
