Hi, i'm a complete newbie, i didn't know openBor existed a week ago. Now i want to start building my own games, but can't find any step by step tutorials like we see for every other software on the planet! I've tried unpacking PAK files and playing around but i can't understand a thing! I need a video a tutorial. How is it that with so many people making games with this, no one has taken the time to make a youtube channel demonstrating the basics?!! It's mind-boggling to me that you have to search and read through hundreds of forum pages to find any info...

First, welcome.
Second, I suggest you to read the manual (see in my signature), there is a lot of useful information there. Have you read it?

Third, there are a lot of tutorials at YouTube.

Finally, if I can give you a tip, when visiting someone's house asking for help, do not come ramming the door with your foot pointing your finger at people's face. This is not welcome here at all and this won't help you to find help, it will give the exact opposite.

If you really wanna learn, please read the manual and post your questions. We are always up to help.
But there are polite ways to ask for it.

I agree with the guy, there could be some section on chronocrash that would lead people to some basic functions in the engine and start tinkering.
At least that.I can imagine when someone is very excited about the discovery of the engine and wants to start but after coming to forums ... well where to start, what section.
If it would be up to me, i would add newbie corner or something with links to basic tutorials and info to read mostly, not for asking questions.

bWWd he has a valid point for sure (and I already talked about this tons of times). But there is ways to ask help.
Pointing the finger at people's face isn't one of them...

Ive got impression hes super excited about the engine, and it comes off as disappointment that such engine is not taught on bigger scale, i dont take it negatively but i get it why someone else would.

Well, to be polite, there are plenty of people in this forum that would like to help you (and me, also a newbie).
