With almost all the planned SORX content already finished, I'm having some ideas.

There's some good titles from 8/16 bits that unfortunately have outdated gameplay these days, I would love to remake them.
I also would like to revisit the CPS2 sprites to make something like the "dramatic battle" mode (not exactly a beat 'em up) from the SF Alpha series, mixing the whole trilogy (including the PSP version "Upper").

Feel free to post any suggestion.

I have a great idea for you:
Make a new Final Fight game, where you will include everyone from every KOF, SF, Final fight, Sega Genesis, Master System, CP3, Mortal Kombat games - it doesn't care if the sprites doesn't match.
The ice on the cake would be that you need to execute 100+ hit combo in every single mob to defeat them. And this is only for the very first mobs - for the bosses, you would need to keep the same combo for hours.
Call it "Final Fight Mucho Mucho Mejor 100 hits edition"

Jokes aside, I would love to see you doing things that aren't beat em ups using this engine - to demonstrate how versatile it is (and you too).
Things like Altered Beast, or a Shoot em Up, or a wrestling game.

I am pretty sure you can do it.

I would like to see what you could do with something like Darkstalkers. @Pierwolf was supposed to be working on one until he decided to leave the community. I was looking forward to his take, and I would certainly love to see your spin on it @Kratus.

I'm just going to post some videos and hopefully you'll understand :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:
:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO: As a Dragon Ball fan I admit that this is a great idea, certainly I will consider analyzing these games.

The one I played most was Dragon Ball Z: Buyu Retsuden from Mega Drive, but to be honest I always thought that the gameplay was bad, far away from other fighting games like SF or KoF for example.

Lol :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

But in case I make a CPS2 game, I'm planning to make something more balanced, having the SF Alpha mechanics as base with combos around 10-30 hits max depending on the character, limited juggles, but with a few more possibilities than the official game (more like the SF Alpha 3 Upper and below the MVSC1).

The good part about the CPS2 sprites is that there's a good amount of characters/stages that will not clash in their sprite art. I could use for example Darkstalkers, all the SF Alpha trilogy and some Marvel/X-Men content without too many problems.

However, unlike Capcom did, buffing common characters like Ryu/Ken etc to match the Marvel character's power levels, the concept I sketched works in an opposite way, debuffing all other character's to match the SF "real" world.

Thanks buddy! Yeah, I would love to make games "out of box", like the Super Mario template.

I'm analyzing some titles from the 8/16 bit era to see what can be done, and Altered Beast is a great idea. My intent is to make something more like ports but with some improvements, no need to have the same SORX complexity.

This a good idea too, I always liked the Darkstalkers atmosphere.
Did @Pierwolf ever show some kind of demo?

Violent Storm mixed with Big Fight Trouble in the Atlantic Ocean would be interesting I think.
I didn't play too much but I will analyze them too, good idea.

I'd like to talk with you about a project I'm working on, Kratus. Reach out for me in DM on X, I'm @TheBlindLynx
No problem, friend.

Hey Kratus, This is a game from the 90s, Mutant Fighter.
It would be a really good Beat 'em Up, adding a story that harkens back to that era, it would be great.
