In Progress Creating a TMNT mod suggestions comments ideas?

The project is currently under development.
It's a nice base for casey jones,  thou the weapon attacks would have to be pretty basic.  Having the same trouble with April, me and esn23 have looked over a dozen or so bases.  Hard to decide, some have better attacks than others, but some are more suited for a base but lack attacks.

Just a quick rough edit to test, would probably remove the vest entirely and just have him in a t-shirt
 
that look good man I think the vest looks fine but it would be quicker to just add a few pixels to the neck line that would probably save a lot of time for you if you decided to change it to a shirt

Nice work even for a quick edit, will he only have his baseball bat, or will he able to change weapons, maybe for a Special Move?

@Lichtbringer - I want to make him with his golf bag and have him switch weapons.

Cool! Looks good.  They are kinda big, 80-90% looks okay thou.

for casey we need some good weapon sprites, bats etc.
 
@therain that looks like a good base for him, will he use weapons like a laser gun or something?

@beastie that animations looks good will definitely look great in game, what base did you decide to go with?

@ Thegr8test the plan is to have at least three versions thats why I posted 3 pics maybe edit the colors to help show rank?
    1. General have laser gun
    2. Captain have hammer/club
    3. Private unarmed
 
Casy's mask looks great so does his sprite.  Just make sure all your sprites match in the same spriting style.  What I mean by that is if all the turtles have that signature snes shading make sure everyone has the same shading i see a lot of different sprites made in different styles they all look great but if they are not the same style it will stand out like an eyesore in the game.  I have seen a lot of mods ruined that way.
 
Yeah I'm trying too.  As long as they work in game thou

the_rain's mod has it's own style thou, more colourful mine.  Whereas I'm using darker and faded out palettes.
 
its not about the color pals though, its about the way its sprited the style.  Like this look at sailor moon she is sprited in snes style.  If you look at moon knight his style is I guess MvC styled so the sprites clash really bad.

It is a nice idea to have everything in the same style, but it would be a lot of exta work for therain237 and BeasTie to reshade every Sprite for every char, and if you would realy want to have the exact same style, they would also have to edit every sprite to change to proportions for every char, that is not from a TMNT game, and that would be a ridiculous amount of work. :o

Mh now who you say it, the facing of the mask seems a little bit off you are right, maybe you could use Rick from the Splatterhouse games as a inspiration.

He has a similar mask, look how it works on him and maybe it can help you to adjust the mask on casey a little bit, if you think it is necessary.
