Classic VS : (Discussion)

While making Balrog's stage I got an idea to throw opponents into the Casino signs to get electrocuted. At first I didn't think I was going to be able to pull off this feature and almost gave up because I was having trouble figuring out how both players Helpers should respond once someone hit a sign, but I think I got it figured out now. Don't expect all the characters to be able to do this in the next update. Just the finished characters like Ryu, Sagat, Zangief, etc.. will be able to do it. I'll try add this feature to as many characters as I can before the December update.

@Miru No plans for Hon Fu. Just wanted to add this fun stage to the game.
In general, I like casinos, and I even try my luck sometimes. For example, here https://kaszinoworld.com/ingyenes-porgetes/I find cool bonuses, reviews, and anything else that might interest me.
Adding interactive elements like the Casino signs getting triggered during fights really brings more life and excitement to the game. It’s great that you figured out how to manage the Helpers' responses—it sounds like a tricky mechanic to get right.

Will there be any more new characters in the next version aside from Boxer and both Mais?
 
The game was in need of another boss character besides M. Bison so I decided to go with Wolfgang Krauser. I took inspiration from his Real Bout 2 playstyle so you will see some newer moves like a rapid punch & fire slams.

I have an idea for a new hyper move for Krauser where he puts his armor back on to hit foes with a shoulder slam to the ground and then a flaming body press.
 
Final preview of Wolfgang Krauser. In this preview you can see some new moves, palettes ,updated FX & sound balance. Also his Cyclone hyper move & Phoenix Slam special move can now be done in the air. His Unlimited Desire hyper move now has 2 variations. The first variation ends with a big flaming punch and the other ends with flaming Leg Tomahawks. Wolfgang Krauser will be released sometime in the next 2 weeks.

@Miru That is a great idea. I don't know if I'll have time to make the sprites for the move on this release, but I'll write the idea down and update Krauser one day with it. I might add a big sword for the attack as well to complete the medieval theme.

From there, I have a couple more ideas:

* Krauser does his up throw, but follows up with a Blitz Ball toss upward. Or alternatively, casts down a bolt of lightning.
* Krauser spins around with his big sword, possibly creating a tornado projectile.
* Krauser turns into a werewolf and attacks (possible finisher). He is named Wolfgang Krauser after all.

People seemed to like my Street Fighter 1 version of Ryu so I thought it would be a good idea to add another SF1 character to the game. Adon seems like a good choice because he's more well known than other characters like Lee or Mike. I don't have a video yet of him in action, but I can show off his new stance animations and smart palette costumes.

Maybe give his eyes SmartPal too?

Attack suggestions:
- Hundred Jaguars (rapid punches based on the Thousand Jaguars ender from his JVA)
- Jaguar Storm (Use effects from Rila from Breakers to show him morphing into a Jaguar to attack repeatedly)
- Jaguar Cruise (Have him use a Jaguar car to attack the opponent)
- Jaguar Avalanche (from USF4)

I just finished a lot of new sprites for Adon's new moves and felt that he is ready to be shown off. Adon is still missing throws and air special/hyper attacks, but other than that he's good to go. Enjoy the preview.

Perhaps just scalling him a bit to match better SF2 characters.
I like the touch with new sprites.
The stance looks kind of ok, even if not perfect.
I'm glad to see such a great progress!

In Street Fighter 1 Lee has no attacks really, so I decided to sprinkle some of Marvel's Iron Fist on him to get move ideas. One hyper attack I was unsucessful at making was a Chinese New year hyper attack with fireworks. I'm not sure if I'm going to scrap the idea or not. I need to find the right artwork first. I've also made a smart pallet for more costume options. Enjoy the preview.

Nice, but I feel like having Lee be an unplayable character like the ones found in Punisher’s Warzone would be a nice way to preview things before you make him a full character, and I was hoping for more female characters.

I do like how his attacks are somewhat goofy and cartoony though, fitting how unassuming he is. A dragon hand puppet attack could be pretty funny. I think there are some firework sprites in Freedom Planet and Sonic Advance.


Some kind of panda-related move could work too.

“You’re a disgrace to this Great Wall” only seems to work on his own stage, unless you change the “this” into a “the”.

I still need to tweak the code a little more because the characters are flying to high, but other than that the finisher works good from all angles around the flag pole.

Adding another World Heroes deathmatch stage to the game and this time it's the factory with the sawblades. 🫨 The blades will randomly spawn left or right, but you can always tell which way to lookout for the blade because it first travels behind the players in the opposite direction before appearing on your plane. Have fun setting up your opponents to hit the blade or be unfortunate and fall on it yourself.

Recently I saw that the Mortal Kombat Kollection had a stat page for all the fighters in the game and this inspired me to add something similar into the game. So now when your looking at the Move List, you can now hit left or right to get to two new pages. The page to the right will be a Stat page and the page of the left will be Extra info like techniques that are not of the move list, finishers and modes. Adding these pages to the characters has delayed the next update for a little bit. So I'm going to be aiming at a October release now.

Here is another test of the Sawblade stage. The blades have been sped up to arrive on the battlefield quicker. There is also a stage finisher now when close to the molten pit. Thanks to Miru for the finisher suggestion.
