Battletoads and double dragon remake by TobyGames

Not so long ago, I started the project battletoads and double dragon remake on the openbor engine, the difference between this game and other battletoads is that the character sprites are changed here, more game modes are added, and the gameplay of the story mode is also complicated.  If you like the idea, write here.

Call me crazy, but judging by that video, this is exactly like my BDD: The Revenge mod that I released last year. The only difference is the title screen. What's going on here?
 
The differences were used earlier and yes, I was based on the version from madgear, but a lot of changes were made, I do not claim to be the authorship of the game itself, if you deem it necessary for me to delete it (not to shame you all), then it's good, only tell

I thought same thing..... especially when i saw the sprites were adjusted etc like you did

I only just now noticed that Zitz has a couple of different moves in that video than the one he has in my version. So, apart from that and the title screen, everything else is the same as my BDD mod.

There's no need to delete it. When I first released BDD all those years ago, a lot of things were also the same from the mods I borrowed from. But eventually, I started to add a lot of my own ideas and stuff to the mod.

It's cool if you want to use my mod as a base for your own mod. But make it something of your own eventually ;)
 
Does anyone know if it is possible to move a topic to a different section, or do I need to create a new one and delete the old one?
 
I think it is just a language barrier at first it maybe was mistaken that you created the game but it is an edit/remake of MadGear's mod, next time make it clear you are using others work as a base first. The video you posted was long and from what I assume it didn't show much of your own work.
 
TobyGames I know this is going to sound tough, but I think it's better to be honest - Unfortunately, I think you started out wrong.

Although it is not a written community rule, it is a rule of etiquette and good faith: if you use other people's content, you should at least credit them. And taking an entire game from someone, changing one thing and not even mentioning the author is very frowned upon by the community. We've even lost great authors because of that.

Again, it doesn't break any written community rules. But it makes you sound bad to other users and, invariably, the person starts to be ignored in requests for help, in posts in general. Personally speaking, I have the attitude of ignoring this type of user for example.

O Ilusionista Firstly, you did not understand me, I meant that the remake by TobyGames and not the game itself, secondly, I said that this is just a demo, then I was completely going to remake the game (this version is 1.0.0, and there will be more than 10.0.0) in the third, delete my topics are blocked, fourth well, henceforth I will follow the rules
