Thank you very much for the advice.you can use spawn frame on the attack. With that you could even do a variation of that special where the tornado could move forward a little, this way Cody could have two different tornado specials.
Being a different entity will make it smooth either way.
About tornado sprites, I’ve been searching a little. Maybe you can use Cody’s SFAlpha tornado and edit the colors to fit with the DD palette style, although probably another tornado sprite from some 80’s arcade would be better.
Also, you don’t need to resize the sprites, the engine has ‘drawframe’ I think was the name of the command that can do that for you in-game (can’t remember the name of the actual command right now).

Maybe avengers arcade’s Whirlwind tornado sprites?
I'll try to find a new tornado or edit the old one.
i try to work with old commands as i want my games to be playable even on dreamcast, psp, android and raspberry. which are my preferred platforms so there are modern elements of the engine that I currently do not use. thank you friend for your words
