Plot:

The Caponians are back! They are invading the Earth and using beam guns to make people stupid by making them prisoners.
They are very angry!

Cheats:
Avoid using the infinite life because in the platform level the character will not die and therefore a bug occurs.  use Infiniti credits. ;)
 
Oh nice  ;D a zak mckraken shooting beat 'em up hybrid (like the "Bucky o'hare" arcade game by konami) very interesting, i am a huge maniac mansion, a remember playing some zak mcraken and the alien mindbenders until i got stuck. it's an incredible fan community effort to create an ongoing maniac mansion series, it was been going on for 16 years, and 100 episodes, not counting the specials and spinoffs ;D
I commend you for having fun bringing the fruits of imaginations into fruition, back when i really wanted to make my own games (a dream i had to give up since i am not smart enough ^^,) i had tons of ideas for fangames, for toxic crusaders, ninja turtles, digimon...biker mice from mars, swat kats, bucky o'hare, cowboys of moo mesa...leisure suit larry, so many franchises, i could go on...but i never even reached a demo stage even, the toxic crusaders one was just concept on paper...
So kudos to you for producing them in the first place!And if you ever feel like polishing the game, and/or adding to it in the future, you can always go back to it.

No problem ;D i've been playing the game!I lost at the squirrel level XD
It is interesting!I love seeing a Zak MckRaken fangame in a different genre other than point 'n click adventure, it's refreshening in the world of fangames, i feel.
The difficulty is maybe a little bothersome at times (the aliens gang up on me at either side and shoot too fast, i can shoot fast, but one side at a time, so usually i still get hurt by the alien whose direction i am not facing in. The dodge button is a good idea tho!Like the hiding pedal in "Time Crisis" or the temporary invulnerability you get after losing a live in "Bucky O'Hare" the arcade game by Konami. But as i mentioned, with several enemies on screen, it can still be tricky...once you stop hiding, which you need to do in order to continue attacking the enemy, and due to the rapid trigger fire of the enemy, dodging is not much of an advantage. ) Other than that i really enjoyed the experience!Also the health pickups are generous and plentiful so that helps a lot!!
I wish i had experience so that i could help with development of the enemy AI and fix some things instead of just complaining >,< but i hope i am not missunderstood, by all means i like the game!

PS: Are you a Maniac Mansion fan aswell?Just curious ^^*

Don't worry I love making the game complicated. I finish the game quietly. I have to be good! ahahaha: D

I love Zack McCracken and the Alien Mindbenders, I play that game every time back in the early 2000s on my Granny's old computer that also had Double Dragon and the Legend of Zeliard  on it. Those were some good times, and I am glad someone made an openbor game of Zack McCracken so I can relive it's wacky adventures once again. :)

My aim is precisely to revive youth. to turn many people's hearts back in time. ;)
