the only reason Jin has never lost is for storyline purposes. if you take that out then kazuya would easily destroy anyone giving he has more experience with the devil gene as well as having more years of experience. and also Blood Vengeance is not canon to the main story as Jin has never shown any other devil forms in any of the games. also.

The bulk of jins power come from Kazuya as Kazuya is his father and when Kazuya died half of his devil power entered jin (can be seen at the end of tekken 3 intro). http://youtu.be/IsvtUxEFQaU?t=1m27s

Still I admit Jin is very strong thats why I chose him as the final boss over Azazel ! And remember in my story he is taking on Kazuya, Asuka (who can supress the devil gene) and Bryan so dont be upset if he is taken down as I dont think any Tekken character can take on all three of them !
 
Blood Vengeance is a part of the main storyline. Play Tekken Hybrid and you can play as all of Jin and Kazuya's  devil forms. Also Xiao and Alisa are the ones who started TTT2 as seen at the ending of BV when they said they were going to start their own torny. Thats why Tekken Hybrid came out and had TTT2 Features, it was the game of the movie. Age also has nothing to do with how well someone fights because Jinpachi is Jin's great grandfather and Jin killed him in T5 and got stronger and also learned to full control the devil gene as stated in T5. Players and fans dont decide how things are because its already written in the story from the creators of Tekken who is the strongest and right now, that's Jin.

Oh, and Jin can take Kazuya, Asuka, and Brian even though he my have to use one of his devil forms to do it but Im pretty sure he can but I didn't make Tekken so I don't really know because he hasnt been put in that situation. What he did to Kazuya in Blood Vengeance kind of gave me the idea that he can take all of them. But this is your mod and Im not trying to tell you what to do with your mod at all.

Any progress on the game though?

right now I am just trying to think of moves for common enemies I would like to have 2-3 remaps of each enemy with different fighting styles to save memory but the more I work on the game the heavier it gets. I wanted to give support for psp phat but 25MB seems too little but once im finished I may make a stripped down version of this mod.

I am not working on my mod so much these days as I am going to be a Dad soon and that takes priority but I do really want to finish this mod !  once I have a completed all the heroes animations things should move along much faster so spiriting is my main priority (but its so boring  :'( ) 
 
I understand what you mean there, its VEEEEEEEEEEEERY time consuming. My son likes to watch me make games and game test them. He gets a kick out of anything thats action pack and has explosives and slow motion scenes and alot of fighting.
 
dude... harada himself has said the tag games are not part of the storyline. they more a dream match of everyone. how else does human jinpachi, young heihachi, ogre and a few others show up. jinpachi got killed in t5. ogre in t3... also tekken hybrid had tt1 and tt2 prelude which was just a side game based on the movie. so once again. your argument is invalid. and while you may be right that the writers have the power to decide the storyline. they could very easily kill off jin as well. now dont misunderstand. im not a jin hater. he is actually my third main. i just find flaw with your argument that he is the strongest.
 
If he's not the strongest then he needs to be beaten, thats all Im saying. The storyline is whats real and he beat his father and grandfather on many accounts and thats just what it is. He's undefeated and like I said, only lost to Lars and shrugg it off like it was nothing because Lars was blowing off steam and Jin didnt have time to play games as if he said"Ok you win, now gt outta my face so I can take care of some real business." You can't argue with the facts, as Jin would say, "This is reality" and walk off. Even Im undefeated with Jin on any Tekken game. He's the only character that can successfully fight all other characters without somebody using him in a cheap way. And I dare somebody beat me with Kazuya, Heihachi, Jinpachi, or Lars. Never happened and never will because I use them to and know all of their flaws.

Buuuut Im not gonna keep doing this, things are the way that they are. The creators say and show that Jin's stronger and that's what it's gonna be until they decide to change it. Jin is a BIG fan favorite and if they did "kill him off" Bandai Namco would catch hell from fans like Midway did when they killed off Liu Kang and took him out of a whole game. Think about it, more fans were more upset that Forest was gone for so long rather then worry about Kazuya. More fans were upset when they thought Heihachi had actually died then Kazuya so they brought him back before they took him out. They only brought Kazuya back to stand up to Jin, make a good fight and get beat down. Nobody begged and pleaded for Kazuya but if they take Jin out, they'd lose money and people with money only want more. I like Kazuya to but "This Is Reality" - Jin Kazama

As for this argument about Jin its clear we will never see eye to eye so lets give it a rest please ! (still its nice to see other members as in to Tekken as me ;D )
 
I completely agree. As far as playing Tekken, I don't have 6 or Hybrid anymore but I do have Tag 2 and we can do 1 on 1's on tag 2. I actually prefer 1 on 1 because Tag online is sooo cheap but they just can't beat Jin 8)
 
Sorry nothing much still finishing off asuka trying to fix the air combo system to make it more stable !

Also trying to figure out keyscripts right now !
 
Aw ok, I haven't sat down and tried to understand key scripts but I knw you can use cancels and bbox on fall animation to do air combos. Or script a "didhit" script so when you so an air combo, enemy doesnt go anywhere
 
was thinking of starting kazuyas colour separation for his alternate costume and was thinking what could happen if I take colour separation too far !

I prefer the snk style as I am no good at cvs style art so if I want any custom sprites for my game I can make them (a example shown below) rather then beg someone else to make them for me !

I like the color separation you did on Kazuya by making the palette to be Vegeta. ;) Also, that Marshall Law looks bada**. I bet he's gonna be one of the bosses since he's one of the main characters of the series. I love them all! ;D
 
have not given a update in a while mostly been busy looking after my new baby boy !

I am still not finished with Kazuya or Asuka but regardless I have started work on Bryan and here is a early preview at the moment just walking animation, Idle and one attack hope to have him playable soon !
