Nobody asked for this, but I still wanted to pose a "what if?" question.
Well, then there is a small question that sounds something like this:

"What if we just try to translate the regular Axel SoR 2 into the style of Axel BK 3?"

Accordingly, this is how this picture was created today.

I just don't know, I'm not the only one who thinks that BK 3 Axel could have looked better?

And before that I tried to experiment with the SOR 1 stand,
but the result, as for me, was not very good, let's say (which is why it was sent in a half-disassembled state).

Then I somehow came across a game for Java mobiles called "Fatal Fist",
I was quite impressed to the point that I had an idea that sounds something like this:

"I wonder how it will look if it is scaled up to the size of SOR 2"

Accordingly, this is how Daniel Vito's concept for the size of SOR 2 appeared.

Nice job bro! In the future, you gotta recreate BK3 Characters in SOR 2 Style, I'd love to see a spreadsheet of Axel or Shiva and stuff like that.

As for Shiva, I honestly don't know, I can try of course. But I don't think my friend will be happy about it (but we'll skip that)

And so this is how Axel and Blaze came about

I wanted to do the same with Adam, but then the thought came to me
that I don't have a sample that could be suitable for the second part.

And redrawing the SOR 1 sample is somehow not particularly suitable,
since I'm starting to not understand how to adapt it (given the fact of custom palettes)

Now I tried to transfer the style of BK 3 to Axel's SORR.
And as for me, the result turned out pretty good

Based on my years of experience studying fighting, the difference in Axel's stance from Sor1 to Sor3 actually corresponds to the evolution of his fighting moves. In Sor1, he used a karate stance to facilitate leg attacks. His special moves of flying knee and tornado kick were also different from the subsequent ones. In Sor3, he used a boxer's stance, with a lower head, tucked jaw, lowered center of gravity, and arms and elbows closer to the sides of the body to expose the upper body's weaknesses less. His special moves of Dragon Fist, Dragon Smash, and Dragon Upper Strike also became mainly fist attacks.
According to the official storybook, Axel left the city after defeating Mr. X in the second episode, running a martial arts dojo and becoming a bodyguard, perhaps during which time he discovered his strengths in boxing and changed his fighting style.

I understand, and about this, I meant to say the SOR 2 Characters in the BK3 Style, my fault lol. But ngl this idea is sick too. I feel like if many of these characters went into the BK3 Style, like say Max, it would be a nice concept. Because this image you did got me thinkin ngl

(I was just starting to study pixel art, and the style of SOR in general)

I'm unlikely to take on Max. I'm just not a fan of big characters.

In any case, when I'm in a better mood, maybe I'll try to do something about it


In the meantime, catch this little experiment with Adam from yesterday night
(and it seems to me that it is more suitable for defining the style in BK 3)
