has anybody had a problem playing this version?when i select a character it goes to the screen then pauses and fades out back to the start screen,if some one could help it would be greatly appreciated

figured it out you have to press start when you select a character for it to work which is strange

Are you pressing the "jump" button at the select screen? Because in the latest version this button is used to quit from the select screen.

According to your report (pauses and fades out back to the start screen), it seems that you are using a different OpenBOR build. I suggest using the one that comes with the game, that goes instantly to the title screen at the moment you press the "jump" button, instead of the "fade" effect you mentioned.

yeah i figured it out and it is a different button to press and yes i have an old open bor build which i need to upgrade but its sort of tricky with a min pc
