I wonder why you didn't add Ray and Blaze yet. They have corresponding sprites in the same game the newcomers were from (plus Blaze also has her SSF2 sprites by NeoFireSonic). And BTW, I've decided to start from scratch with the Sally sprites using her SFF2+ ones (the current ones) as a base, with the sprite style changed to Sonic Battle.
 
Hey Miru, it's been a while.

Ray was added in Sega Brawlers a long time ago, along with Nack, I just never got around to updating him. Blaze is just another one I haven't gotten to yet. So far, I was only adding a few at a time, so new characters will just be added in the future.

Good to hear about the Sally sprites, I would like to get more similar sprites given that these Mugen sprites are just placeholders.

Hey guys, I got the new update ready to go. I added few new enemies, 1 new stage added to the campaign map, and just for fun, I added 2 speed stages in the main menu just to play in.

I've also gone and did some color editing of all the playable characters, so the game could be a little better better to look at, but I haven't gotten to the enemies. If coloring still needs work, just let me know, and I'll get to them eventually since I plan on moving to a new project.

Well he's still in that game so you should still be able to play with him. This is primarily a Sonic project but I've been having plans for guest characters. If I go through with it, Ristar will be ported over, along with Toejam and Earl, that I can assure you.  8)
Be warned though, it takes me a little longer to work now then I use to, so anything that will be done in the future, well, it wont be the NEAR future.

Sorry guys, an error was brought to my attention, but the new level, Quartz Paradise, crashes due to a enemy having a script header when not using it, and I never noticed it since it doesn't make the game crash when using the data folder. I corrected the issue and made Sonic's run attack faster, so it's better to use now, especially in speed fights. I replaced the download links in the previous page and the OP.

For the first time in a long time, I was able to record a video. The videos stop at 10 minutes so your gonna notice some cuts in the video, and the files were too big so I lowered the quality.

The first level I picked was the new one I added, Quartz Paradise, which mainly a mix of Palmtree Panic and Quartz Quadrant, both good futures, from Sonic CD. The 3rd part is an edit of Metallic Madness, and the 4th is a mix of that with the background from a lower level of Quartz Quadrant, also good futures.

Much appreciated man! I've been absent because for some reason, I don't seem yo have an account there anymore, when I signed up before. Weird.

Anyway, before Cosmo and Tiara, I'd rather have you working on Johnny Light Foot from the Fleetway series given that he was killed by Chaos back when the series was official. I'll send you a PM about the design. I also want to come up with a sheet for these characters and give them some good moves, so I may need you to concentrate on just Julie-Su until I get them done. This way, I can have all their animations planned in case you miss one I may need.

Wow. City Invasion looks really cool. I think there could be another part in the stage where you're dealing with the aftermath of the attack, similar to Crisis City.
 
Looks good! I like the pseudo travel part

I think you need to fix enemies in pseudo travel levels so in their DEATH animation, they are dragged to the left i.e left behind instead of staying still like this

I recognize that shocking spin boss :). Hey, why not making it like this: that spin boss appear as boss in previous level but upon defeating it, it flies away instead of dying. Then when pseudo travel level starts, the boss appears flying to the right . All of this will give impression that players are after that thing ;)
 
Dammit Bloodbane, I'm on the verge of releasing this, lol! It's a good idea though, and I may consider doing that, but I'll have to make a separate file so I can slow it down. The only thing I would need is getting it to face right if it wasn't when it's first defeated. Just so you know, the bosses original name is Bowling Spin, but I based it's gimmicks on electricity, hence the name change. And yes, it's one of the mid bosses from Sonic 3.  :P

I've been meaning to fix the death animations, among many others in the high speed levels you were talking about. I don't know when I'll get to it though, and like the boss, I would need them to face the right every time they die. I'm pretty sure all that would be left is to give the animation a jump and keep them rolling. Same would go for players to.

Starting getting ideas about using other characters in this mod, but casting as existing characters from different Sonic canons, which will stay on unless I can find more people willing to make sprites for the characters. Also, I think this would be much easier for the Sonic Fleetway comics because that series has a lot more character who aren't human or mobian like Sonic. In this gallery here, I included pictured of a few characters to add to the game, 2 of them are from the archie comics. If the pics are too small, you cab move your mouse down and click "L" for Large.

The first is Mecha "M" Robotnik, a female robot that Robotnik made as not only his personal bodyguard, but also his daughter. She seemed to be a very strong villain given she kicked Sonic ass the first time they met when Sonic tried to attack robotnik. She didn't last long though, she was framed for a betrayal by another of Robotnik's creations and the Doc himself ordered her to self destruct, and since she couldn't prove her innocence, she did just that. I should also mention she had a metallic exo-skeleton, practically making her a female terminator. To cast as her in the game, I decided to go with mugen edits I found for Jubilee from X-men. I used Fighter Factory to make several edits of Jubilee pallets, wondering which one to use. The first looks a little weird but was meant to match the unique color scheme of Mecha's suite. The others are more normal, and the last is the thought of Mecha wearing a red jacket like Robotnik.

The second archie character is at the bottom of the gallery, is the Xorda, an alien race who once destroyed all life on Earth in retaliation to one of their own being captured and killed there. Some of the DNA survived though, an 12,000 years later, we got the mobians we see in the Sonic universe today through evolution. In short, Sonic's world, Mobious, is Earth, 12,000 years in the future. It's also ironic that one of the main people responsible for the Xorda death on earth was a decedent of Robotnik's family. Anyway, I'm use Shuma-Gorath for this, as it's petty obvious why, lol.

All the other characters are from the Sonic Fleetway comics, Lord Sidewinder(the grey guy with the long hair), and his gang of enforcers. I haven't seen Sidewinder fight himself, so the sprites is just for the story, using Nitro. His enforcers are Lightmare, Sindwinders right hand who's hand man, who was actually his daughter, casted by Raven(will color the skin blue because of the blue pants, but her skin is actually pink). One of the other enforcers is Procter Speckle, who is literally this comic's Bruce Banner, and casted by Oswald from King of Fighters. Instead of getting angry, who mixes a potion to turn into his "Hulking" alter Ego, Mr. Fry, casted by Red Hulk. Like the other casts, Red Hulk will be recolored, but in case you're wondering, I used Red instead of the original Hulk because of the Hair, it's spikey like Mr. Fry's, and Hulk's isn't. The last enforcer is Bio-hazard, casted by colossus Juggernaut. He seems to be constantly dripping oil and spewing smoke. Aside from being another powerhouse, the only other ability I've seen from him is being able to vomit a deadly toxin out of his mouth.

Then there's the last character from Fleetway, Commander Brutus, a powerful robot made by Dr. Robotnik. He was very powerful and so far, the only enemy from this series Sonic was never able to beat. However, he betrayed Robotnik and started his own empire to rule mobious, starting a war with both Robotnik and the Freedom Fighters. Sonic fought him again, but in the end, it was Robotnik who destroyed him by dousing Brutus in liquid nitrogen and shattering his frozen body with a single punch. Casting this one was tough for me, it was between Magneto or Dr. Doom at first, but given Brutus' brute strength and build, I decided to go with Sentinel instead. After just going back and reading his wiki page, I saw that Brutus's creator actually envisioned him as a Roman centurion or Doctor Doom type character, so I may go just use Doom.
