This means a release is imminent, right?
Slowly but surely. Started working on an entity that spawns random enemies to help future stages go faster, based on Gunstar which spawned random enemies on the first level until you got to the boss fights. I'm also working on shifting the entire gameplay style to Gunstar Heroes as well, but without the guns. I think it's a good blueprint for 2D action games, especially Sonic.

can you add biker mice from mars to the mix that would be awesome as well as extreme dinosaurs maybe wonder boy chars as well keep up the terrefic work
Thanks man, as Miru said, I will be adding the Biker Mice. Throttle can be found in another mod I started: http://www.chronocrash.com/forum/index.php?topic=3224.msg45529#msg45529

Vinnie has his sprites done but I haven't worked on him yet, and Modo has yet to have any sprites done, but his moveset, like Throttle and Vinnie, will be based on certain fighters from the KOF series.

Don't know if I'll get the Extreme Dinosaurs in, I'd like to be after the mice I gotta pln on other characters such as Sega IP's. Speaking of that, I had plans to add wonder boy to Sega Brawlers before but never got to him, it'll happen one day, just can't say when.

Yo guys, I popped back in today to go ahead and release this new version of Sonic Revolution. As you guys remember, I had a set back with losing a lot of work I had did through half of last year, I've redone most of it and even got some other new stages and guest characters done. I'll update on them when I make a certain amount of progress on them.

As for now, this version is pretty much what I had done last year, Scrap Brain zone, with it's 9 segments, and the addition of Antoine D'Coolette and Rotor the Walrus, which now makes every Freedom Fighter from Satam and the original archie comics playable.

If there are any problems, let me know, I tested Scrap Brain with no problems so it should be the same case with anyone else.

Peace out.

One odd thing I notice is that the Nebula enemy stays suspended in mid-air even upon its destruction. The electrical blasts from the wall cannons also seem to go beyond the boundary of the screen. And I think this game’s GameJolt page needs to be updated.

That was intentional. It could be changed later.

You mean from the 3rd section of Scrap Brain? Unless it's causing a problem, they're suppose to do that.

And I think this game’s GameJolt page needs to be updated.
You may want to check again, I updated it as soon as I posted this.
Edit: Just figured out where I could leave dev logs so I took what I updated in the overview and put it there, along with screenshots.

I'm enjoy to play your Sonic mods.
Thanks.:D
Glad you enjoy these mods man.  ;D

EDIT:
Since I got a lot of what I'm adding next time done already, I'll let you guys on some content now. There were 4 new characters being worked on before I lost them, and I got the stages for 3 of them practically done. Check the screen shots below for New Junk City, which introduces Earthworm Jim, and Sunset Hillside which introduces Toejam and Earl. As some of you may know, all 3 of them are from Sega Brawlers, so they're mostly copied.  :-X

Yeah! EWJ’s stage looks awesome. I wonder what villains of his are going to debut...?

Oh, and thank you for the clarifications. I especially loved the chase sequence near the end.

None ATM. I had plans but that went out the window when I lost the original files and I'm pressing to get this stuff done before the next SAGE, which I will get there this time even if I have to cut a few things.

You're welcome and it's good to hear you got something out of that stage. Oh yeah, did you recognize the the second mid boss after you fought Metal and Mecha Sonic?

I did recognize that last mid-boss.

Back for an update. In the shots below you'll see Parappa the Rapper in Parappa Town. Because I doubt there's a 2D version of the place, I just took the background from The Simpsons' arcade game, lol.

I’m curious about the boot in the upper left of the Rapper Town shot. What does that boot belong to?

Oh. I did notice at least one new enemy, a bee Badnik, as well as a SBMM Battletoads enemy that didn't show up previously. Any more new enemies?

Ruivo made a cool gameplay of your project. He is a brazilian youtuber which gives a great support for OpenBOR games.
