In Progress Sailor Moon Crystal

So that's what you're working on ATM esn :).
I can see your idea with her special moves.
My biggest question is do you really need these dark areas 🤔? It's impossible to see anything there that you have to fight in bright areas.
 
i will brighten them up a bit more later on but the idea was this to be a tutorial act before sailor moons battle with narus mom XD so its tux mask rushing to jewlery store.. TY for complements XD
 
Looks good. The kind of scene and sounds are interesting.
What I regret it the fact this mod still use very old strange animations from the source mod.
Also, I never really used the SNES sprites for Sailor Moon games, they are not a good resource, but since they are the ones used in the old BOR mod.
Anyway, still looks interesting. :)
 
Well I actually redid a lot of those sprites myself, they used sailor venus as a base and i didn't like the way they were shaded so i remade them using the same base (venus) I think I did edit the run and roll sprites though as they didn't have those in original.. Also what do you mean source mod ? im making this mod from scratch. If you mean the really old kung pao mod the only thing im using so far is a few animations that i reedited. I wanted to make a game using only snes and genesis sprites reshaded so it sorta looked like an hd upgrade to the old games.. I literally remade that entire stage from snes redrew everything to make it look nicer lol but i see what you mean and thanks for the feedback.

I'm not sure who created it? but yes some old BOR mod based on Sailor V and a female cop.
Sure the shading not the best, so, good you edited it.
 
Oh i dont even have that one lol i have an older sailor moon game based off classic arc that has sailor v in it.. I used her roll sprties and run and reshaded/sprited it but a lot of the sailor v sprites i just edited from snes sailor venus XD because a lot of those sprites had a lot of weird color choices and was hard to edit without redrawing the entire thing XD
 
I'm sad to say @esn23 hasn't even logged in for over a year now. Changing status to canceled. Hopefully he'll return soon and resume it.

For the almost 4s of video where you show the game, i liked. I hope you post some progress in the future
 
This is far from done still need to work on some timing of enemies, damage scaling, i have this weird bug where when enemies are in air they pause for a minute and tuxedo mask shouldn't break out of dizzy.. I also need to add poison and am trying to find the correct way of doing it. But at least a preview of the story, some new enemies, i just need to sprite the bosses and program them and fix above bugs and then make tutorial and then possibly a demo on this one. I didn't show it off that well but there are two buttons that combo into each other they have 2 special moves and a buff move in tux case is a taunt that makes him agro enemies as this will be multi player unlike xmen.. he also can throw a rose on the ground i just didnt show that off. I am still working on xmen as well as 2 original projects and commissions so i will work on this when i can as well as other fan projects..
