Hi everyone,

I wish i have post it at the good place, if not, move it please.

We have start to share our work with some old games we have fix to works fine on OpenBOR build 6412 for 90 % and 4432 for the last 10 %.
It has take us 8 month ... to test and finish all the games, with all roads. And to learn to code for OB, fix bugs, update content, etc ...

  • I have create a "Front cover" in 720p, a logo, a screenshot, a titleshot and a video preview for all the +100 games. All created on Photoshop and inspired by the game title screen.
  • For some unfinished games, I have some time added an intro, an outro, a better how to play, etc ...
  • I have also full translate in English some Spanish games, to make them understandable by more gamers ... so complicated for the Chinese one :(
  • We have always let the real author information, we do that only to upgrade games, and all is explained in "English" in a PDF file with each game !
  • We have fix all the bugs we have found, some caused by the build 6412, some already in the original game

All is shared on our Youbube channel, I speak in "French", but you can watch images, and read the auto-subtitle. Links are in description.
We have choose to fix games for OB build 6412, because on many systems, like Android, Switch, "Batocera" linux, etc ... we use it ... and we can't compile so old OB builds.
We also have compiled the 4432 old build, for some games we use it because it save us a lot of bugs to fix. Strange too, some games are faster on 4432, and slow on 6412, some effects or scripts are bad supported.

We are not sharing commercial games !!! Don't ask for them, i have put in description the STEAM links.

To help us, you can report us bugs we have missing:

  • You must give us the name of the LEVEL that crash or where is the bug. You can found it in the OB log.
  • Explain us the bug, what is happening ?
  • If you can also share a screenshot it will help a lot too ;)

A set v2 will come later with some more games, but no more. We don't want to work on a full set. Only the games we like to play, a selection to not hase so many games same too. We search games with different gameplay, design, univers, and fun to play if possible with children and friends :)

Now that all is down, and we can play some cool games ... we will working on new projects :D
  • Barbarian (the kimono one) : I'm working to convert all stages in 16/9, and adding many background animations. We will also update it for a new gameplay
  • A Saint Seya new project, from scratch, in 16/9 with 32 bit pixel art graphics. It will respect the real "anime story". We will try to give a fun gameplay with many moves and special.
  • I have an idea of an original game too, full custom 16bit graphic, but it will be harder to release because it is not a beat'em up. I would like to create a game like Bomberman, but not a real bomberman, just a puzzle/action game, with puzzle levels, 4 players Vs and many action.

Thank you for your great and hard work which will definitely be useful to me.
I also use Batocer and have a question about Final Fight LNS Ultimate.
FFLNS Ultimate uses the Openbor 3.0 build 6330 open source engine with a custom LNS team modification that cannot be run on Batocera.
The LNS team has released versions of a modified engine for the Raspberry Pi. Can this solution be used in Batocera, or do you have any other idea for launching this game?

@kash18 Final Fight LNS is NOT supported here.
Why ? I'm not aware of anything, I admit that I never keep informed of the drama, there are too many all the time, I prefer to stay focused only on the games.
If a game is good I will talk about it, promote it. and attach little importance to its author as a person. As in the cinema with the actors, I love Tom Cruise films whereas the character in itself IRL does not interest me. BonusJZ has never answer my messages like some other ... it is not a problem for me. @ZVitor allays answer me, like @kimono or @dantedevil and some others ...
it's great, it's much better, we can exchange about games, code, and sympathize. But it is not mandatory to play their games. Anyway I note a lot of info in the PDFs that accompany the games, because the info on the net ends up disappearing, if I made mistakes I apologize, but normally with my PDFs we has everything you need to know about an English game at your fingertips. It's my way of respecting and paying homage to the creators of the games.

The problem of this LNS build is that it not respect the OB rules i think because they have modified the engine :(
It's really bad to do it, and not make a PR on the officiel GIT, or found a solution with some scripts ... i really don't understand why they do it :(
On OB we must patch the engine to make it working fine on the system, and also modify the INI file format to permit an auto controllers configuration.
You can't take only an executable, put it in batocera and launch it, it will not works fine. you must forgot this idea.
Like i tell in my video, in french, the only solution is to take the LNS 2, add it all the LNS 3 stuff, and remove the one that use the modified OB engine.
I think, for exemple, adding some new characters from LNS3 to 2 will be easy, but i have not take time to try it.

I can help to fix some missing bugs, to have a perfect game set, a part of the OpenBOR story ... <3 ... but for more, it will not be possible for me, i can only help you to try...
Now i will try to release my own games to continue the OB story and promote.
 
Bravo darknior pour tout ce travail sur les médias,Corrections etc... de cette belle collection de jeux openbor.Tu m'as motivé à tester tout ces jeux et les rendre bien fluides et finissables.Je tiens également à feliciter kimono qui a beaucoup aidé à corriger ces jeux.Vous pouvez nous aider à remonter des petits bugs si vous en trouvez surtout à 2 joueurs étant seul à jouer je ne pouvais tester que les jeux en solo.Fightez vous bien et vive openbor💪💪

Congratulations darknior for all this work on the media, corrections etc... of this beautiful collection of openbor games. You motivated me to test all these games and make them very fluid and finishable. I also want to congratulate kimono who has a lot helped to correct these games. You can help us to report small bugs if you find some especially in 2 players mode, being alone to play I've could only test the games in solo. Fight well and long live openbor
