We are really happy with the results so far:
- release trailer at Pop Hero Games channel has more than 17K views
- More than 1300 downloads
- The reactions have been overwhelmingly positive, with high praise for the animations, the fluidity of the combat, and the sound design.
- There are very few things to fix, such as the brightness on the initial screen (which bothers some people) and a typo that went unnoticed in the ending.

I wish I could have released the demo for more systems, but we had to opt for a secure format or people would steal the assets before we even finished the game.

But there are ways to run it on other systems:
  • Linux: use Lutris + Wine
  • Mac: use Wine
  • Android: use either ExaGear or Winlator

Not bad so far, I don't know if it's just me but sometimes when trying to hit the main 2 bosses I feel like they're on a lower plane yet they can still hit me??? Again I don't know if it's me or not, but other than that it's pretty good so far guys!

I got a copyright from the intro track and the 1st story track as well, so I don't know if you guys are going to change the tracks in the future!!

Looking forward to the next updates man, take your time it'll be worth it!!

Boss attacks have the same range as player attacks. I follow a rule that weapon attacks have a greater Z-range than normal attacks, especially if they are circular attacks on the Z-axis, where they gain even more area.

The increase in Z-area follows this order, from smallest to largest, in all my games:

- Normal attacks
- Combo enders / weapon attacks
- Circular / special attacks

I checked the values for Goldar and the Minotaur and they are okay - in fact, they are even narrower than they should be in some cases, such as Goldar's sword attacks and the Minotaur's club strike (which are using 15 instead of 20 on the Z-axis).

Regarding the copyrights, it all happens because of the intro cutscene. If you let it run, it triggers this warning and also triggers it during the first song - and that's why I didn't include the cutscene after Goldar's defeat in the demo, where Rita makes him grow.
 
This is a dream project for our team. We know there’s already an amazing “Power Rangers Beats of Power” game made by our friend Merso X (who authorized us to use content from that project, and if you don’t know the game, it’s worth checking out), but we wanted to create our own vision of what a game in the series should be like.

What to expect from the game​

  • Solid combat system with good combo possibilities
  • Frenetic action, inspired by arcade games like TMNT
  • Ability to control Human, Ranger, and Megazord forms
  • Hundreds of new sprites
  • Soundtrack using the Mega Drive sound chip

What not to expect from the game​

  • A Marvel vs. Capcom 2 disguised as a beat ’em up where you can execute a combo of over 100 hits on the first enemy you encounter. If you like this, this is definitely not a game for you 🙂

Important: Unfortunately, due to an engine bug discovered 2 days before launch, co-op is disabled in the demo. We opted to release the demo for single-player only rather than delay the launch.

Important 2: The game is compressed for security reasons and may cause false positives due to not being signed software and having a changed icon, but there are no threats in the files.

You're saying I can't get a 999k hit combos on a dead enemy?! Or that I can't tag in 15 Power Rangers to do extra damage... Oh NO!! What will I ever do?!!

This demo is really good and here my Through for it.

Yes I was wondering How I got hit. In the video I was holding down punch button while in air.

Is there a way for me to jump to that part of the demo with a debug mode?

Nice preview! Since the Dinozord is in, maybe the Megazord shouldn't be selected/highlighted like the fighting version from the Genesis version where you're not allowed to select characters after selecting one of the Rangers or giants. I mean, if there were the original Zords like mastadon, pterodactyl, etc.

Funny I personally never asked for more zords. 😆

Yep, there will be some limitations about the Zords.
