OK I have a game in mind where the character is a shark....I was playing my six string bass last night and started pumping out that beat to the jaws theme if in certain climactic scenarios is I implemented that beat maybe even just partially would that be a violation of copyright or trademark infringement? Because their are more than one way to play a song....drop tuning, different different chords, different tempos for instance. I highly doubt I was playing exactly note for note and the part I as playing was on a different instrument than the original....so it's not a total rip off rather than a parody version. Musical composition even if it were the same instrument can sound the same but actually be different arrangements.
