Copy/paste the errors you get here, might tell us which libs you need to install.
Phew... Just finished repairing my system.

Well, while the the x86 asks me libsdl2-2.0-0:i386 and other stuff I can't install, the Arch Linux compiled is giving me segmentation fault right now. :'(

BUG report:
- nosame flag:
if switch nosame 1 and select 1 player than starts the game.
then I select 2nd player, 3rd and 4th. At the 4th player I can select the character of the 2nd player... WHY???
I had the same bug while testing my game. When I loaded my old save, nosame starts functioning properly (sort of).

Okay, so I've been trying to run this version of OpenBOR on my Ubuntu machine. For some reason, I'm getting this error:

Code:
error while loading shared libraries: libSDL2-2.0.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

So I can sorta just Google around the internet and find a solution, but that's not the point. I'm also looking forward to distribute my game for Linux in the near future. Usually the Windows version works out of the box, so how I do resolve the Linux part?

EDIT: Looking at the Software Center, I already have a package called "libsdl2-2.0-0" installed. I dunno why the program isn't detecting it...

EDIT 2: Okay, so I installed this package: libsdl2-2.0-0:i386

......aaaaand now it's giving me a new error:

Code:
error while loading shared libraries: libSDL2_gfx-1.0.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

Sorry for double-posting, but thought the solution might require its own post.

If you want to get the Linux version of OpenBOR to work, you'll need precisely these libraries installed (regardless of your architecture):

libsdl2-2.0-0:i386
libsdl2-gfx-1.0-0:i386
libvorbisfile3:i386

Question is, how do I make it non-tedious for my users to install these if I want them to play my game out of the box?

One thing that i think should have been done since the beginning of Openbor is to raise the default music volume, it is so low that modders usually have to clip there music tracks when audio editing so that the volume is loud enough, i personally double the default volume in the option menu nowdays.

Perhaps it's just me... anyway i think something such as musicdefault in levels or models txt could be a good thing to add for modders.

Just wanted to share that a library has been released that enables Wii U Pro Controller compatibility with homebrew.

It would be a sweet thing to implement to the next Wii build of Openbor and you can read more about it here.

Keep up the awesome work guys.

Actually yes. Plombo has done a few things here and there. I have also been working on some big additions (one of the biggest is finally having access to get for drawmethod properties), but they aren't quite ready for release as a devbuild just yet.

First of all, thanks for your amazing job with these ports!

I just noticed some issues (sound related) with wii port.

Some wavs are messed, you can try Fighters History mod (or any pierwolf mod) to check that out. Some wav samples (specials moves) do a weird noise!

Thanks guys, u rock!

Has anyone had any luck successfully putting the power rangers beats of power game in a format that will allow it to be played on an original xbox or emulator?  If so, please let me know because I have the worst time playing on my small phone screen and I have no other way to play. Thank you.

First post here, I apologize if I'm posting this in the wrong place. But I've been using this build of OpenBOR on my Wii, and for some reason, it doesn't want to boot when I have any screenshots saved. It goes to boot up and just hangs on the Open Beats of Rage screen and never gets to the pak list. If I remove the screenshots from their respective folder, it boots up perfectly fine. Booting from SD card, by the way.

Anyone experience anything similar? Solutions? When using an older version of OpenBOR, I never had this problem. I'd really like to be able to save screenshots without having to worry about removing them any time I want to play OpenBoR games.

Hi everyone. The questions below refers to the Wii version:
I want to know what i do to fix some sound noises in some games (Super Final Fight GOLD for example). And why some front grabs make enemies fly to the opposite direction (same game)? How can i fix it in the game coding?

I don´t have skills to programming the engine itself. I will see the module sounds and if i can fix the foward throw to adapt to the wii openbor.
