Seems cool, but One Piece has maaaaaaaaany essential boss characters and I don't think you can put them all in an old school beat'em up game.

If you can do a stage per saga, it would be awesome.

I think you need to specify which chapter you based your mod on. One Piece has many chapters including the new ones (after 2 years training)
