I was thinking of ripping the sprites from the new Iphone version of double dragon has anyone already done this i searched the net but could not find any.

I am not planning to make a double dragon mod so I was hoping someone here could make use of the rips.
 
I can see why nobody has ripped these sprites yet its not a easy task as the game resizes itself so sprites are not clean I tried to hack the original file but I cant even remake the idle stance plus I hate jigsaw puzzles I am currently looking into a alternate way to rip the sprites will give a update soon.

That's surely puzzling

I can imagine a way to reassemble this such as by collect all parts with heads, with arms, and with legs then start combining.
Easier say than done
 
im not sure if all the sprites are there and i think some sprites may be overlapped for this reason im looking into another ripping method !
 
Yeah a had a quick play, I think they need to overlap making this even more painful.  At least when you have to do this with 'mugen' rips you have perfect sized tiles.
 
no Malik, saddly there is no way to rip the sprites as they are, because they are made of many pieces to save size.

I ripped many mobile games, some uses full body sprites

...but many of them are made of small pieces. Tekken is even worse than that:

Ok this game has given me a lot of hardship but I can finally make clean rips I am taking on this sprite ripping project as my priority over my Tekken mod.
 
to rip this game i had to install it on a phone that displays it at its native resolution 480x320 then i connected it to my pc via a java app called droid @ screen then just take screen shots but the app is very laggy so its still not very easy i take 100 screen shots of every animation then pick out the best ones to put the animation togeather.

I do intend to rip everything enemies and stages.
 
Still not completed billy's sheet but here is a update. There should be enough there to make a base character for anyone planning to use there sprites on a DD mod.  Top half is in order bottom half is still W.I.P.

Here is a rip of the first stage from the game it was not easy to rip and parts were redrawn. Still need to add animation panels for the barrel on fire, doors opening, fence ripped in two and the brick wall breaking open.  Billy is almost finished just working out how to rip sprites with effects on top.

As far as I know Mr Q is working on a mod based on super double dragon.
 
Here are some of the stage animations for the barrel on fire and the two guys standing besides it.

O Ilusionista if you convert this stage to mugen could you post some screenshots here please.
