Nekketsu Kouha Kunio-Kun Re

In Progress Nekketsu Kouha Kunio-kun Re v0.03

The project is currently under development.

This time, I made a big decision. Since I'm not a professional music maker, I've always been concerned about the quality of my music. A friend introduced me to AI-powered music creation.
I didn't start from scratch, but rather upgraded existing songs I'd already created.

It's been quiet for a while, but I'm back after a bit of a break. There was a minor bug in the game, and we were waiting for it to be fixed, but there was no progress. It's fixed now. The video hasn't changed much, but the music has changed a bit.

When I first created Kunio's new design, I was trying to protect his height, but as time went on, I couldn't stand the incongruity of his leg length when attacking. That's why, compared to the original design, the dots I made for Kunio are one line larger.

Today, I completed the new stage, Stage 6-1. Since Stage 1 was divided into three parts, I'm also expanding the other stages.

Very nice stage, I would have finished the upper part of the arch roughly in the following way:

Beautiful graphic design, both in terms of the characters and the setting.

The layer occupying the foreground of the screen is only depicted on the screen as a drawing, so creating an arch-like structure might require creating a wall judgment. Since we're trying a new stage, there's a chance things will change.

The ceiling is higher than expected, so even if the character jumps high, it doesn't seem to have much of an effect on the wall. I've updated the drawing to reflect feedback.

These days, due to my daily life, game development hasn't been progressing very well. Still, I'm making progress little by little. This time, I'm in the process of implementing Kunio's new technology and the character's updated graphics. That's why it's taking a lot of time.

Stage 3-2 is set in a nightclub, but the atmosphere feels like an underground dungeon, so I'm constantly revising and adding to it.
Unfortunately, I've never been to a nightclub before, so I don't know what the atmosphere is like.
I'm making improvements based on photos.

While developing the game, I was wondering when to start working on bosses. The workload and specifications were different from those of regular enemies, so I kept putting it off, saying I'd start at some point. This time, I've finally decided to get started. Bosses require a significant amount of work, as they become the player character upon clearing them.
