I think always was there.
The bug play alone happend in the last stage (Balrog).
In this stage the dialogs come in the end, so i think thats is the problem.
During this level i make the super combo with shadows trails, then when dialogs come the bugs appear in the portraits. 
 
To see the bug, if you play a game with 2 players in the dojo of Training and make a supercombo one time  with each player, you ca see the bug error in the shadows trails.
 
Went to the Balrog stage now and saw the bug too. I'm checking the shadow trails too. BTW, is this both players doing a super combo at the same time or just one at a time?

Just played it.  Wow! Awesome mod! Very professional!  Probably one of the greatest obor mods?  I love all the moves and special effects, some really cool moves I never seen done in obor before.

Suggestions:
I think the AI is a bit aggressive though (I think it reminds me of Crime Busters?), that won't sit well with casual players.  Maybe a difficulty select?  I can see that there is definitely a rhythm so it does take a little bit of practice to become better at the game.

Sometimes when you do a special move, they will grab you out of it of it or you'll get hit straight afterwards.  I don't know if  you have to set invincibility on some of them, some of them should be safer and some should be unsafe to keep it interesting.

Also they are supposed to be the first wave of bad guys why are they breaking me out of my grabs?  I noticed the enemies are different and have different styles, so you have to use the appropriate tactics against them.  However in the heat of battle it's kinda hard to tell them apart? (all black)  I don't know if they different masks or colours to differentiate them a bit.

I'd like to be able to hit the knife back at them if possible?  It seems really fast, I wasn't able to block it either?

Anyway fantastic mod, your daughter must be so proud!  I love all the characters, so many different moves and animations, really just an SSS+ rank for effort.

I take any advice you give me to make a better the mod.
Some things i know it and others are new to me, because not forguet is my first mod and some thing escape to my atention.
But with all the help of friends like you, i think can improve the demo to be the best possibble for all.

I haven't played an OpenBOR mod this well made since the Streets of Rage ones. So much variety in moves. Great control scheme as well. Physics are top notch. 9.5/10 so far. Keep up the good work.

I completed the demo and it was a blast, numerous moves and dark tone sets it apart and I love the throw with Liu Kang kicking mooks behind the head is golden. Also I agree that enemies aggression is bit too much especially maybe it notch it down a bit but still keep it challenging. Overall, what an awesome demo and can't wait for the full version.

I work today in every enemy to ser rhe agression accord to the first level.
I have lowered the damage they cause you, and change some moves so that the enemies do not abuse using the grab.
And now can stop the knifes with hits.
