Project is halted prior to completion and will not receive further updates.
I'll also do a clean up on the next release, it should bring it down to about 70mb(might help).

Don't use download accelerators (I found it works best) and I have tested the upload and it does work.
So you'll have to just try again.

I don't use download acellerators and ALL my downloads from Chrono Crash stops at about 30%, using google chrome.
 
I'll have to dig up my copy of chrome and try and see if I get the same results. I'm using Waterfox and I got no problems, except when I use accelerators on chrono.
 
I did a clean up but it only made 20mb difference to the 7zip vs 80mb unzip. So sorry but i'll only upload on my next update.

Is there any chance of an alternate download host? I keep trying to download this from this website, but it always fails around 60-90% of the download, tried several times, both on chrome nad firefox, and without using any kind of download accelerators

I've tried a couple but they all bomb out on the upload :(
But anyone is welcome to upload it to a temporary download host if they like.

I like the sounds of the new extras.
Make's a big difference to all characters game play.

Is there a mode were the moves aren't locked away and no rpg elements?
Nope, other than cheating. :-\

I'm still hoping to make it more indepth (when I got time).

Let me give you a little feedback about MixMasters

I really love the fact a good variety of characters and system are present in the game.
This is beautiful, nice atmosphere and all!

There is some point you can update for the future versions.
Its all left to how much free time I have :)

I feel the gameplay a little approximative/unstable. I don't know how to explain, but the moves seems not to really hit. Perhaps you can apply alittle longer hitstun on attacks, to feel more the hits.
Actually the game is very accurate and precise. Please read further for a possible explanation why.


Also, some velocities seems really too fast during one game with Mai, I have been striked by multiple enemies and have the feeling to fly away really fast. They literally played ping pong with Mai as a ball. ^^
Unfortunately I haven't finished all animations of all characters yet and some enemies is still using the old grab script (very inaccurate) but I'm working on them.

some sprites obstacles/elements to destroy, seems not to fit the game graphics, but it can easily be replaced.
Graphics wise, there is truth to that but as obstacles. They are very good at obstacling the battle.

About gameplay again. It's apin in the a** to see so much wonderful moves and not being able to do the half of them.
That's not true at all. Most characters have had alot of work done so that combo sets can easily intermingle with other combos sets. (Higher Tier makes more combos available)

I love mods with a lot of moves, you did a good thing about it, but seriously I cannot enter most of the moves commands, I don't even understand how to grab an enemy.
Read on to see a possible explanation and solution to this. Its todo on how the combo system works.

The pain anims of enemies sould be a little longer, to give a little more chance to survive for the player.
Because it's really hard

I'm pretty sure that fixing these kind of balance problems will make your mod even better!! :D\

I think i might need to explain how the games combo system works as it might be what the confusion is about (that I didn't realize existed till now).

Try to think the combo system as...
..Start combo set by pressing an attack button then..
....Hold a key down/In to continue the combo set and then..
......you can again also combine into another combo set by pressing attack to start a another possible interchangeable combo set and so on.
....To interrupt a active combo set, you usually would just release the Attack button.

You can try this by doing..
..Load the game and select Ken and goto chapter 3 or 1.
..Get close to same size character and press attack1 and then press attack1 again (successful hits)..
....now when Ken is in his second attack1.
....Hold down the joystick and Hold attack1 in.
....If you timed it right then ken will grab the enemy and throw him.
So that's press attack1, then press AND Hold attack1 in and hold joystick down.

Another example is..
..Load the game and select Ken
..Now Press "Attack button 4"(A4) then
....Press and Hold "Attack button 3"(A3) in (dont let go) to release a devastating continuous combo set.
......Remember that this continuous combo set can be interrupted (by releasing A3) and can be merged into various other combo sets.

Another example is..
..Load the game and select Rick Stroud.
..Standard attack type (regular attack combo attack1,2,3,4,5 etc...).
....Pressing Attack1 continuously won't get Rick into a boxing frenzy.
..But to use the Combo set system
....Just press AND Hold attack1 in (dont let go) for Rick todo his boxing frenzy combo set.

I think that the reason why you might think the game feels unstable (and actually would be) is that by pressing attack (like most fighting games) and not holding attack down/In, the attack combo set's would rarely happen.
Once you get the hang of this, then the attacks will happen exactly when and how you decide it should happen and also makes the game much easier.
Also, having your Tier Skill High makes more combos available to.

I will update all the move manuals to clearly state where the combo keys should be held in or just be pressed.
I will try do a new video showing some of the new extended combo attacks set and how they can be changed from one to another.

I really want to be able to handle this mod.
I tried again, and still cannot.

A tutorial should help a lot of people! :)

..Damage Multiplier reduced from 1000 to 500.
Improvements to "script"
..Improvements to AI.
..Made game easier.
..Better difficulty creation in spawning script.
..Better throw radious script (most noticeable playing with "God Silver").
..Various other improvements.
Added One "New Tier Skill"..
..Level 1 = New power Attack
..Level 2 = New power Attack
..Level 3 = Can now counter enemy grab throws by pressing "A".
..Level 4 = Doubles block rating ( can defend against stronger attacks ).
..Level 5 = Can block while jumping.
..Level 6 = Basic attacks can be interuppted by pressing "Back" which will cause your character to turn around before the attack finishes.
..Level 7 = Increase players pain threshold (Means that you need to be hit harder to play the pain animation)
..Level 8 = Increase players knockdown threshold (Takes more power to knock you down)
..Level 9 = All Starting Freespecial attacks will have a small immortality period.
..Level 10 = Can now turn around while blocking and pressing "Back".

Hello and thanks for making this. Does it work with the latest version of OpenBOR? If not, is there a new version planned?
 
OK I just downloaded this and it's telling me the files in the archive have been damaged, preventing me from unpacking them. I tried both B1FreeArchiver_1.4.69.exe and the latest WinRAR.

What's going on?
