Oh, sorry, I didn't mean it like that! I'm not rushing you! It's more like a "heads up": if you keep adding new stuff to heroes, then perhaps you may never feel they are complete enough, and with each change there's a lot to change because there are so many heroes already. After so long, you may get bored with the project (or RealLifeTM may "ask" for your attention). Don't get me wrong (and don't let me stop you), I love these changes and they'll make for a better game. And if you're having fun, even better! :)

Not sure I understand. Low MP uses Tornado (the runattack from last video), and full MP uses Lightning? They are completely different. Won't that be confusing?

random ideas:

Would be nice to have Hawkeye's arrow pass through enemies (perhaps at combo finisher) if MP is full. Cheap?

Now that you have added the special pain animation to enemies, will Psylocke's mind dagger cause stun to living enemies?
 
yesterday i was fixing damage system, checking how much damage basic combo does to each char, black panther was top one, maybe thats why at video some people thought he should be better then spider, but i will nerf him.

and doing a lot of tests with obstacles, somes moves will not look right, like if cyclops shot his beam at ground and he are at top of a crate, it will hit air, but it is not a big issue,


btw, another fan request (mainly warecus), cyclops beam to up and up-foward, after D, DF, F + A, hold up or up+forward:

0. i dont tink so, bomb like arrow and knife like arrow are different too, tornado and lightning are different graphically but they are just projectiles, and lightning will be even more effective.

1. humm... good ideia, i will use it to his last arrow of his arrow combo, so far it is lowest damage combo of game, so this feature will help here

2. i setted a mind attack6 type to psylocke, but in end i didnt used it (will use it to emma frost.), because her dagger are only effective if it knockback enemys, (and if it do a stun, it became cheap, because she can do it again and again....),

Cyclops directional beam is fantastic stuff! That will give him a very distinct position in roster.

About psylocke, you're right, she'd be known as "Stunlock" :P
Maybe she could just cause more damage against living things (or less against machines)...

 
oh nice beams! i was coding one cyclops today just for fun, i dont like his personality but he is a great character to play in any game eehehe
and a cyclops should have many beams like you did! very cool

I really love that island...

And i thought Blob was in the first game.


Is it possible to put costumes, or just pallettes?
 
The jungle stage or the Savage Land looks hella dope and Black Panther looks adaptable in it as well. Also like the directional optic beam for Cyclops gives him advantage over airborne enemies.
 
Alright, So Savage Land, home of unextinct dinosaurs and the land which has a lot of tribes

probably you could add tribe men, or those flying dinos

I see that the Sentinels has K.O Voice, it pretty awesome though

Blob, okay, that one in the vid is easy, but can you make him a bit difficult?
Like he is bouncing around until he is stunned,something like that.
 
Great! I love the running dinos :D

What about making Triceratops which fights like regular enemy? this dino runs in its SPAWN animation. If this dino is mixed in with running Triceratops, players might be tricked ;)

I agree about flying dinos, they should appear in sky mode at least.

Hmmm... is Blob has stomp ground or smash ground attack, you could give him earthquake attack which hits standing-on-ground players on screen

How many air attacks does Beast have? I see a punch, a dive down, and a bounce up. Are any of these specials? BTW, I would think the dive down would send him upwards for another attack...

Did you already code Cyclops bigger beam when MP is full? I couldn't see any difference...

That's a good "Alarm", but something like that would be better during a stage instead of a boss.
The reason I say that is because in practice, Bosses already work like that: if you don't kill it fast, the mobs keep coming. Alas, it's still something different. Also, since it's huge, you could make it a little "bigger" on the z axis, so it's easier to hit and harder to move around it.

I also believe Beast's capoeira special could have a wider attack range onn z-axis.

The dinosaurs could use a little variation in their color palettes. Also, when you see them running (specially the triceratops), you'd expect something big to be chasing after them, like a flying machine or sentinel. If you don't feel like doing that, you could just play a loud alarm sound effect.

About the flying stage, you are still undecided about turning backwards, right? I know some characters will already have different attacks, but have you thought about adding a "dash" and a "back attack" to all ships? Take a look at the horses in Knights and Dragons. That could break monotony and increase mobility.

yea, i want to add this ones, but im wondering if this stage dont have already so much type of unique enemys. not sure yet.

wondering about how do that and keep him slow

- triceratops:
cadillac and dinosaurs have fews triceratops sprites to make him regular enemy, and i see him more like a non agressive dino, about add something to chase them, is a nice ideia, i tink i will add a running t-rex.

- alarm:
i like to have it like boss, actually here is only place at game where minions are infinity, because spawn are at alarm and not at stage.

- tribe man:
i added they like npc, black panther helpers with another pallet.

- beast capoeira:
i saw around a script to make it like mummy commando special, so you will be able to control this move Z, also after video i fixed pixelated sprites of this move:

- beast 3 air attacks:
chars with agile 5 - 6 have 3 air attacks, 4 - 3 have 2 air attacks.
commands are: A, Down + A or Up + A,
special button at air dont work
block button at air is the fly mode. (or spider and venom web stand, and mr fantastic float)

- cyclops:
yea, he have a bigger beam, you cant see the diference? look at 7:00, only regular beam, diagonal and up beam dont change if mp bar is full, will tink about make it even bigger, btw, the system to hold uo and change beam direction was added to captain america shield too, wondering about who can use it too.

- fly stages:
still in progress, and to this stage enemy will be small MVC projectile sentinels.
and i tink i will let only flying chars use turn.
 
Still not seeing the difference in Cyclop's optic beam animation. Maybe it's just youtube and my PC... In any case, I was going to suggest you enlarge his beam, "opening" it in the distance, making it increasingly wider (like a triangle).

And YES! You must have a T-Rex! Going to the Savage Land and not facing a T-REX is like going to Rio and not taking a picture of yourself at the feet of Cristo Redentor! LOL!

I think it would be nice to find the flying dinosaurs too. Keep the triceratops the way they are. The raptors, you could give them a lunge attack (quick dash/jump forward and bite).
 
thanks man, a bit static, but could work to background.

trex added, and two more frames to cyclops beam looks bigger

will add pterodactiles later, exclusive to this fly stage, at solo we already have a lot of enemys to this stage.

started street level, maximum carnage background dont fit to project style, so i replaced with another one.... this part will be more fast then savage land,
